Perfect for small jumping spider
Perfect for my i4 jumping spider, no fruit flies escaped and it’s easy to clean. Seems to be good quality and hasn’t cracked or had the hinge break. Worth the money if you have a smaller jumper, but for a larger spider I’d go for a 4x8 enclosure. There wasn’t any assembly, and it’s small enough to fit in little spaces

Great For A Small Starter Kit! 🕷
Very small as described, but cute! Is perfect for my smaller spiders or for starter kit. Very easy to assemble. The grass is soft and cute. Can definitely see through it great! Good price as well!! The video is of 1 my spiders in this exact cage, I have added items of my own inside.

The hinges broke, but still good for the size
I've bought 2 of these and the hinges broke on both. It still snapped closed enough though to where my spiders could still live in them. Even still, it was the perfect size and they couldn't escape out the airholes line they did with the big one I got from petco.

Jumping spiders
Got this for my sister's jumping spiders. It serves its purpose and houses them well.

Brittle, not great for housing things
This is a small container I intended to house a small jumping spider. When delivered, the vent holes were loose and the metal vents fell out with almost no touching, which I had to glue back in. I then saw a review about the fake grass length which food bugs would hide in, so I intended to trim it down but the grass was glued incorrectly to the ground fabric causing a large ripple. I opted to just remove it and use small bits of dirt. The spider moved in and went to the top, as many jumping spiders make their little homes in top corners of their enclosure. Unfortunately the latching mechanism and large hinge startle the spider when it’s popped open and mess up any vertical decor as the lid hinges back. I ended up removing the water dropper thing (which I thought would have a hole in the bottom to collect a small water droplet but was wrong) and put it in another jar until a better enclosure could be delivered. I ended up buying a larger cylindrical enclosure that’s clearly better build quality. I will say the container provides a clear view of whatever’s inside and, with proper securing of everything it would work fine if you never intended on opening and removing the spider/insect, as it provides a feeding port that provides a way to feed the spider with no contact. It’s just not quite what I wanted as I want to get my spider out on occasion and by opening the lid, the wood and any decor would move around and disturb the rest of the enclosure. Anyone who gets this would be better off using any clear resealable jar with air holes, which they probably have lying around the house.

Cute and breakout proof
Great enclosure for small jumping spiders Replaced the rug with soil for better humidity :) No places for spider to escape through and the feeding hole is convenient Interested to see if spider uses the water

Temporary enclosure, maybe. Permanent, absolutely not.
This will only work temporarily for my lil spood, which is fine, and I don't recommend it unless you need it temporarily. My tiny spider is about 1mm. Very, very tiny baby. But the makeshift containers I was making for him were just difficult to deal with - I was disturbing him too much to just mist inside them, and there was no way he could make his web den in them without them getting destroyed. With some adjustments - and other purchases - I was able to make it workable until he gets big enough for a REAL enclosure (just go to Tarantula Cribs, they have great prices for acrylic enclosures for jumping spiders). He's already made a bit of a home for himself within 3 days. I'd give this product less than 2 stars if I didn't need it only temporarily, and if it didn't more or less serve that purpose of being a temporary enclosure. It arrived a bit janky. I had to pull off dried flooded glue. I also had to properly glue down some of the attachments (particularly around the rubber seal at the top, as the entire thing was loose). Very, VERY sloppy glue job. The 'turf' they send you sheds like CRAZY and is useless. And don't expect a very glamourous twig - it's just a little stick - but it does fit in. The tiny bowl is very cute though. There is no assembly for the box itself, but with how much extra DIY you have to do to make this workable, I would NOT say there's no assembly required. Make sure you have proper glue, possibly an Exacto blade too. And stuff to fill it. The turf is just garbage. The enclosure is still a bit too big for my baby spider, as he can't really find or catch prey very well in it, even if I put said prey in the bowl. I've had to, unfortunately, disturb him, and put him in a tiny container with prey, which he promptly (and cutely) stalks and pounces on. Lil Spood gets a cuteness rating of 11/10. Enclosure... ehhh... 4/10.

Worked great for our jumping spider
Our spider seems happy and content in this box. It was smaller than I expected, but I guess I didn’t know what 4 inches was. It’s sleek looking, as it’s all acrylic. It is a bit difficult to open the feed hole, but this is manageable/fixable.

Not like the photo.
For starters, look at the photo in the listing, and then look at the actual stick included. (The listing used the word “driftwood “.) and look at the opening for feeding your little critter. The one I got is not like that at all. It’s a sort of silicone stopper – just as big on the inside as on the outside. Feels like it’s meant to be permanent. Very difficult to open and nearly impossible to close. Not sure how I’m going to feed my jumping spider without him escaping or getting squished. I think it’s meant to have a lid more like the water tube. And I’m not sure of the point of the water tube. Can’t put more than a few drops without it spilling all over the water-repellent carpet. The “artificial turf” is a piece of very silky strange carpet. For $22.61 I’m feeling spectacularly unimpressed. Do not recommend. On the positive side, the plastic is nice and clear.
