This works really great! Takes the effort out of opening a can. I haven't struggled to open a can in ages. I even bought my mum one so she can have one too. Would recommend this to anyone. Easy to use just position it on the jar and press a button. Not very heavy. Nice and sharp. Last a good couple of years.

I've not given it stars primarily because it needed help opening a can of beans , which the original culinary one touch ( died after 10 yrs faithful use) would have opened without my help. I'm hoping that it manages other opening tasks without my assistance.

This tin opener opens tins, just as its name says. It works.

Having struggled to open yet another can , I have found i am outside the return window by 7 days. It seems incapable of opening most of the cans I have tried, and furthermore doesn't stop when it has completed a complete round , and so I have to wrestle the thing of the can.

I've bought this a few months ago, and for most of its time, it worked. Put it on, press button, whirr whirr, open can. It has always been an issue to get it to release the damn can lid (27 P Sainsbury's baked beans, chiefly). You literally have to wrestle with it because after opening the can, it keeps going with the lid stuck to the gears. I press the button, it stops for a microsecond and just keeps perpetually spinning. Today, I cut my hand on the open and "safe" can lid by HAVING TO GRAB IT to remove it and still spending actually twenty seconds wrestling it out of there. As of the last month or so, it also sounds pathetic and weak trying to grip and open the cans. I replaced the batteries when I first noticed this but it didn't improve anything. I have opened maybe 50 cans total in the months I've had it, so...I suppose if you need something for the short-term, get this. But me? Never again.

Maar uiteindelijk, na een beetje proberen, krijgt hij de klus wel geklaard en gaat het blik open. Het doet wat het moet doen, maar je moet er wel wat geduld voor hebben.

J'avais l'ancien modèle qui avait le défaut de ne pas ouvrir les boîtes trop large. Celui-ci corrige cet imperfection. Plus petit, plus léger, il fonctionne encore mieux que le précédent.
