Library Resource Purchase
Had a nice collection of shoes for referencing. Using it more as reference for company library. Every designer should get it especially at the price it was offered.

Disappointing
~Written by RC's wife K* (who looks fabulous in heels --RC) There are lots of shoes in the world - past and present - that are AMAZING works of art and engineering design -- though no doubt not entirely comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, most of them are missing from this book. The majority of footwear shown here is average at best, and simply don't live up to the title. Too bad, I was really looking forward to having a great time browsing this book. I sent it back for a refund. Not recommended.

Fifty Shoes that Changed the World
This book is part of a classic - must have - series and deals with its subject matter in a remarkable way. You can dip in and out with ease and still build up a clear picture of how design has changed something as fundamental as the shoe over the last 70 years or so.
