As described and works well for our needs
I used this to extend and add an additional button for an automatic garage door opener. This is solid core wire as described from Merriway and seems perfectly fine.It was a good price and we now have an extra switch to open the garage door.Recommended!

Solid bell wire…. That’s it.
Solid core bell wire, used to extend an adapter for video doorbell. Less flexible that the adapter wire but not an issue. Could have done with some end connectors for either end and some clips but not stated included so can’t moan.

Not as described!
There's lots of reviews here saying the product isn't as described - mainly that it's copper-coated aluminium or something, rather than copper. That doesn't bother me (I think), but - call me superficial - when I buy "white" cable, I expect it to be white, and not to have a black stripe on it, making it stick out like a sore thumb. It's cheap as chips, though, and I can't be bothered to send it back.

It's 2 core bell cable, not much more to say, apart from the price, far cheaper than most DIY stores.

Does what it says on the packet
Not really much you can say about wire really so I'll keep this short.Used to extend power supply from a 18V plug in transformer to the front doorCable quality seems ok and is about 1mm thick and about 2mm wide. Whilst it is flexible the wire will bend and retain it's shape slightly to go round things like door frames. The plastic sheath is quite soft and can be easily stripped to reveal the wire underneath.Package was small enough to be posted through the letterbox (5m version)
