Great bit of kit.
I bought this when setting up home and the cheaper model was no longer available. I have to say I am mightily impressed with this bit of kit. I have been using it for three months and it is very robust, easy to use and easy to clean. It is very stable and not too noisy - its bound to make a noise so I'm not bothered about that. I haven't found anything that I've wanted to do and couldn't and all the attachments have been well thought through. I've found the mini grinder particularly good for blitzing linseed and other seeds too. I haven't used it for grinding coffee as I have a separate coffee bean grinder. I make my own peanut butter and this does it with ease and I've had great results each time. Its also great for making mayonnaise etc where ingredients need to be added in small amounts and blended quickly. I would happily buy another if the need arose . . .but I don,t think Ill need to for quite some time!

Literally useless
I received a processor with a European specification power plug. Literally useless in the UK. How is this possible?

very useful
A nice piece of equipment has enough gadgets for the average kitchen my only problems are it does not have a UK plug and changing it would affect the warranty so needed to purchase an adapter plus it is advertised as having cord storage which is not true.

Total satisfaction
Bought just a couple of days ago but this machine won me over. So far I used the slicing attachment, fast and even. The cake batter mixing was perfect. But what really impressed me is the little nut grinder. 100g almonds at a time ground to fine pulp in seconds. No more ground almonds gone stale. All in all the machine is pretty, easy to use and clean for a good price.

Apparent lack of health and safety!!
As a owner of earlier Kenwood models, I was very disappointed to find out that this new model does not contain, (amongst a multitude of gadgets) a container for holding the shredding and slicing disks: this strikes me as a lack of concern for primary health and safety; these disks are razor sharp and without such a holder (standard issue on earlier models) the risk of being cut by them is quite significant. Furthermore, when I called the Kenwood Helpline to point out this blatant omission I was told, quite calmly, that this important container is no longer available!! What's going on Kenwood: pull your socks up please and address this oversight asap.

Design flaws and weak motor
Unfortunately, the rubber gasket on the dry mill somehow came out of place and got tangled in the blades. On the up side, the gasket did not break. On the down side, the heat and friction of running the blades tore up the base. With regard to the food processor, the motor is a bit weak to grade cheeses. With regard to the blender, the motor cannot handle blending my hummus unless I keep it about a third of the way full. I realize this blender was a budget purchase, but I thought the numbers reflected a more powerful motor. I didn't expect the gasket to be so prone to falling out every time you go to close the mill. On the plus side, the brushed steel look is easy to keep tidy, and the glass attachments are a wise chose for those worried about endocrine disrupters. If you have the money, spend a little more and buy something with a more powerful motor.

Food processor meets our expectations, only concern was that it was delivered by courier in the manufacturer's box, with no additional packing to ensure it arrived in "shop" condition
