Knightsbridge 8300PC 2 Way Pull Cord Light Switch in Polished Chrome, 35.0 mm*74.0 mm*74.0 mm

Used in my bathroom as a finisher item after renovation. Simple to install, just attach it to a power ceiling connection by turning it like a jar lid onto the fitting, once it's wired up. Ample pull cable length for the higher ceilings and adjustable for lower ones. Made of strong plastic construction (I chose black to offset white marbling) and comes in te stabdard fitting size at a good price. It looks great and I'm happy I chose this.

Smart switch, easy to install and finish is perfect on the matt black coating. Good value for money. And the pull cord is a very good length if you have a high ceiling

This was straightforward to fit in place of the old white fitting, and looks way better. It feels solid and has a satisfying clunk when you pull it. The dark coloured cord is nice (especially compared to a grubby white one!) but I replaced it with an antique brass beaded cord and a heavier pull because it's for our porch light and I wanted something a bit more decorative.

My husband fitted this and it looks really good. He said it was easy to fit.

OK, THEY HAVE SUPPLIED THIS WITH THE WEAKEST CORD AND A VERY VERY VERY POOR CORD CONNECTOR, NO MATTER HOW MANY KNOTS I PUT INTO THIS THE PLASTIC IS SO SOFT IT JUST POPS OUT, THE WHOLE POINT OF THAT CONNECTOR IS TO MAKE LIFE EASIER IF THE CORD SNAPS YOU CAN REPLACE IT EASIER AND OBVIOUSLY A SAFETY REASON SO IF YOU OR SOMETHING GETS TANGLED IT THE CORD IT HAS A WEAK SPOT TO DETACH WITHOUT DAMAGING THE SWITCH OR HARMING YOU OR A LOVED ONE, BUT ITS TOO SOFT SO ITS POPPING THROUGH EVEN WITH 5 KNOTS..SO IN THE END I HAD TO TIE THE 2 ENDS TOGETHER THROUGH IT WHICH DEFEATED THE POINT OF THIS CONNECTOR... THEN A DAY LATER THE CORD SNAPPED BECAUSE ITS TO WEAK...SO WITHOUT ANY CORD I ALREADY HAVE 2 JOINTS IN IT... ALSO WHY NOT SUPPLY THIS WITH SILVER OR GREY COLOURED CORD TO MATCH TO CHROME...CHEAPSKATES

I brought this as I was changing everything from white to black. I obviously couldn’t miss out the light pulley, and I’m glad I didn’t, what a difference it makes. It’s beautiful and matches the rest of the bathroom.

Looks great when installed. Works fine and as expected for about 4 months. Durability not so great
