This product removes hard skin as described although can take a while to get through the layers. The hard skin usually returns pretty quickly within a few days which is a little disappointing but may just be my anatomy rather than this product.

After watching a review on this I thought I'd give this a go as the price was reasonable and, let's face it, my feet needed it! I placed my order and awaited delivery which was prompt (the following day) so once it's arrived I grabbed me a towel and a bit of privacy (no one needs to witness what was to follow!) and off I went.Now, the instructions although basic cover all that is required to safely use the pedi thingy and in the leaflet they point out there are three clip on rollers or heads, one is course, one is regular and one is fine. I didn't find it so easy to differenciate between the regular and course, although others may not have this issue. It would however be useful if the heads are numbered 1, 2 and 3. Anyhoo, I picked one of the rougher heads (it's a simple click of the button on the side of the head), powered her up and started 'grating' away. One press of the power button gives one speed but a second press powers it up further. It feel comfortable in the hand, you just gently rub the head around your foot - no pressure is needed as the machine does all the work) and after 10 minutes use on each foot I was shocked at how a) soft it felt while using on the feel (it didn't hurt to use) and b) how much of that hideous hard skin it removed with ease. I won't go into details but we'll just say that towel went straight in the washing machine!! It left my feet feeling soft and, if used regularly as they recommend it'd probably only take a minute or two on each foot.Basically, I'm pretty chuffed with it. My only possible negative would be I dont k ow how long the heads will last before they need replacing and I wouldn't actually know *how* to go about ordering replacements when needed. The leaflet does say "please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance" but it doesn't actually provide any contact details. That said, don't let this put you off! It's a great bit of kit at an affordable price.

could not replace battery after it failed. this is counter environmently friendly. the design should allow for customers to repair all products rather than send them to landfill.

I have only used this once since receiving it a few weeks ago. It is so much better than my last similar item I had, better quality and better speed.The 2 speeds may be useful but I'm not really sure one makes a difference over the other, but maybe I will find this out in time.The good thing I like about this is the rechargeable battery as I used to go through quite a lot of batteries with my old one. Obviously as the batteries run down so did the speed, but as I have only used this one once and it remained on 100% after its first charge during use then I have yet to see how it operates on lower power, but with the power being shown it is easy to see when a recharge is needed.Certainly worth the money (as long as it lasts a year at least).

I was expecting this product to be more powerful. I've attached photos before and after. I've used this after the shower and made sure my feet were dry and clean. My feet felt softer after the first use, however I was expecting to be able to remove cracked skin on my heels completely. I guess it's okay for the price I've paid. I always moisturise after treating my feet and put a nice thick socks on to keep the moisture in. I've only used this product once, so maybe as I continue using it, I'll be able to remove cracked skin altogether. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and the price.
