This wonderful product came from a great seller who values people's health. It was carefully packaged and shipped quickly. I found it to have a mellow flavor because it is in a non-reactive bottle which came with a pour spout. Love it!

I am Eastern European, Russian to be exact, and very used to sunflower oil which is the most common one for cooking there. Was surprised to see a few nasty reviews. The oil tastes just like it should- sunflower seeds! I use it mostly on salads or replace butter with it for mashed potatoes and pasta. Wonderful flavor, great taste. Know nothing about health benefits but was very happy to find it on Amazon because I never could find it at grocery stores. Not cheap but it's a decent size bottle that will last awhile.

Have not really used this ..so may be an update later. But first things first. The top of the bottle had a small amount of oil on it making a little challange to remove the plastic wrap at the top. A little soapy water cleaned it up and a knife cut the clear plastic enough to remove it. Next the yellow cap perplexed me. I tried several methods to swist it off until, dumb me realized the the yellow cap is actually a yellow plastic 'cork' .. just twist and puill up and off it comes.

I've been using unrefined sunflower oil ever since I was a kid for pretty much everything, especially for fresh salads, so I know a thing or two about it. This one, while winning all stars for presentation, does not check any boxes for any kind of sunflower oil. There is some remote resemblance in smell when you smell it in the bottle, but once you pour it in a salad, a foreign smell and taste that has nothing to do with sunflower overpowers everything else. I made a mistake once, long time ago by purchasing SAFflower oil at a local store, LOL, but I learned my lesson and I triple-checked before ordering this one to make sure that it does say "SUNflower". Perhaps, I was unlucky and got a bad batch, idk, but I'm not going to experiment and buy another one just to check that, especially because it's non-returnable and non-refundable. So, my advise to you, skip purchasing this product, and if you happen to have an Eastern European store anywhere nearby, support that local business by purchasing your unrefined sunflower oil there.

I'm very pleased with this oil and happy that I found it. I've looked for a healthful, light, and tasty oil and finally found this one! It really does taste very smooth and buttery. It is so good! It's perfect for everything! Its light, pure tasting flavor doesn't interfere with the food. I love this oil and will continue to buy it. I do have one small suggestion, though. Great idea to have a removable label, to show off the really pretty sunflower design, but I wish the stick-on label were removable without taking the design underneath with it when I try to pull it off. It would be nice to have a removable label that pulls off easily without pulling off the design also!
