I have used the Dobie sponges exclusively for the past 20 or so years. Several months ago I bought a Scrub Daddy on a whim and liked it, but they don't last very long and they're kind of expensive. I came across these while looking for alternatives and gave them a try.They are perfect! Kind of like a cross between Dobie and Scrub Daddy. I like them because they can either scrub or wipe, they last pretty good, and they feel comfortable in my hand. I have big hands for a girl, but I'm old and arthritic so too much heavy sponge squeezing makes my hand sore. Also, you can't beat the price and the little frog face is cute.

They're trying to imitate the name brand sponge that looks similar to this but there is definitely no comparison. It's a good purchase for the money but not as good.

I was skeptical, thinking this 'wanna-be' sponge was going to be sub par. I was wrong! I hand wash all my dishes because I'm old skool and I find dish washing by hand is therapeutic. I throw out my sponges often and use two at a time- one for two legged creatures, and one for four legged creatures. I am also a dedicated coffee & tea drinker with the lovely habit of leaving my coffee mug in random places, with n without coffee/tea in it for long periods of time. I also have hundreds of mugs, but use one, which happens to be white. I am also a sucker for name brand stuff... so I used Scrub D* sponges for many moons. Day after day, I would wash n reuse my mug, few times a day, coffee, tea, tea, coffee..... the same stubborn stains since 2015.... until I was being subjectly lazy and did not want to run into Target for knick knacks. So I searched Amazon for my regular stuff n I see these cute voldemort looking sponges, quantity is decent, save a few shekels, bam bought em. Upon receiving, I halfed the pack with my sister. Got home, found my empty mug, placed it in the sink with some water n soap, pulled out a voldemort sponge and used it... in disbelief.... my coffee/tea stains from 2015 are GONE! These 'Frog' face sponges are combined with 'magic eraser' powers without disintegrating. I was shocked. So, I looked at my porcelain sink and used the Frog magic on an old rust stain... kablam, gone! I would definitely recommend n repurchase!!

Bought these as a dupe for the sponge mommy/daddy. These feel more cheap and do not scrub as much. Honestly just feels like a regular sponge you can get at dollar store. Cleans dishes but does not get out hard caked on stains or food.
