Lays flat. Traps dirt and leaves etc. it’s not thick but I like that isn’t because it doesn’t get moved and pushed by the door.

We needed a low profile mat to fit under our front door and over an area rug, and this was perfect. It's made entirely of the same rubber material so it's super durable and captures all the moisture and debris that gets tracked in. I don't know that I'd call it "absorbent" but still very effective.It doesn't move at all when it's placed on top of a rug, and moves very little when we use it on our hard floor surface.We got a small size, and I'll probably come back around to order it in a larger size, we like it so much.

I bought 3 for my small entry. I really like them. They're sturdy and don't curl up at all. They stay put. They catch dirt but it doesn't show because of the quality material and good design. The one directly in front of the door is a little too thick and it had to be pulled back or it would catch. Thats the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. It definitely does the job in most circumstances. Even after getting scrunched, it went back to its original state with no creases or folds. Would purchase more in different sizes/colors

I’ve had doormats that were too thick so my front door wouldn’t move freely over it and doormats that were thin enough but slid all around. This doormat was a pleasant surprise! It’s larger than my others, catches dirt, and is thin so the door opens easily over it. I am very happy with this product.

My experience with this product has left me incredibly disappointed. It is listed as an outdoor mat but yet, It ultimately failed in the most critical aspect: staying put in the face of a gentle breeze.The lightweight nature of this doormat proved to be its downfall. At first glance, the mat seemed convenient and easy to handle. It was effortless to lift and reposition, which initially seemed like a positive attribute. However, this became a significant issue as soon as a light wind blew.Even the mildest breeze was enough to send the doormat sailing through the air, transforming it into an impromptu kite. It quickly became a nuisance, constantly requiring retrieval from my lower stariwell or my railings. Not only did this pose a threat to the mat's lifespan, but it also resulted in a less-than-ideal welcome for guests.Moreover, the flimsy nature of the doormat impacted its ability to perform its primary function effectively. Instead of efficiently trapping dirt and moisture, it simply folded and bent underfoot, providing little to no resistance or cleaning effect. It failed to serve its purpose as a functional and durable doormat.Its inability to stay put in the face of a gentle breeze and its fragile construction render it ineffective and frustrating. If you're in need of a doormat, I suggest looking for a sturdier and more reliable option that will actually stay in place and serve its intended purpose.

Nice quality and looks sleek! Doesn’t move much either

Spend a few more dollars and get real doormats. These are lightweight, thin, flimsy, no-nothing things that don't feel like they'd stand up to even one wipe of the foot. They're so lightweight that they'd probably end up in your neighbor's yard if a gust of wind came by. The design/pattern is nice but that's the only redeeming aspect of these doormats. I returned them and spent just a little more and got real, heavy doormats.

I thought this product would be a fabric but it’s actually a plastic/vinyl material which was great for what I needed it for. I needed something to put under a dog crate so it wouldn’t slide around or scratch the hard floor and this is perfect for that.

Don’t waste your money. Flimsy bit of rubber that doesn’t sit flat.

Just the right thickness and size for my gate.
