GENUINE FM REPLACEMENT CAR ROOF AERIAL MAST WORKS WITH Amplified radio signal

The old aerial mast' foam rubber around the spring at the base, started to perish, crumble and look untidy.I feared it would be a major operation involving removing the entire aerial and having to removie the roof lining to do so. But when I looked into it No! the mast just screws off, the sharks fin base doesn't have to be removed. Simples. So I looked into buying a new mast and a basic one, much the same as the original, were very cheap, all less than a tenner. So I went for the cheapest one I could find £3.50. It arrived almost the next day and looks fine. I unscrewed the old mast, it didn't want to come off, it unscrews fine but you really have to give it a yank to pull it out of it's socket but it does come eventually. You select the correct size screw thread from the two options provided and screw the new mast in place.It might be my imagination but the radio nows sounds clearer.I'll just have to see how long this mast lasts before it starts to look tatty but at £3.50 even if it only lasts a year what's the loss. Now I know how simple it is to change I can always get a more expensive one next time.

This was to replace the original, as the plastic was beginning to peel off due to age. It works fine on my car, reception is perfect. I did find it a little fiddly to fit. It did come with different sized screws for fitting. I had to figure out that the screw only went so far inside the base and the item, but it was secured firmly to the car and is still secure months later. Good value for money. I would buy another again if needed in the future.

Just like the original one it had before it wore out and fell off. Also good radio signal.

Works Grate I bought it to replace my old factory fitted Arial because the old one didn't have enough Gain for my new DAB Radio the new one is phisicay longer than the old one is atleast 25% longer, plus the the Helical wire is has slighly tighter turns, Now I rarely loose DAB Stations with fare less signal Brake up too :)
