First let me review the shorts themselves. They were perfect in fit. They hugged my legs just like the photo, so apparently I have decently developed legs. Yay! The length was short, just like in the photo. Again, perfect, and exactly what I wanted. The fabric is that stretch material that is matte in finish, and it is the same high-end fabric used by another company that charges $60 for their shorts (that do not fit as nicely). The drawstring has high quality gunmetal colored tips that are METAL. To address things brought up in negative reviews. The fabric is buttery soft; someone said that it is like sandpaper. Either they listened to feedback and changed the fabric, or the other reviewer and I have vastly different opinions. Know that I am picky, so there is no way the fabric is sandpaper-ish. Another reviewer said the pocket "flared out." On my body (short, thin, muscular), they did not flare out. They were perfectly flat. I will say I wish there was a version of this short without the huge plastic zippers. In fact, no pockets would be just fine with me, too. But a thin, concealed nylon toothed zipper with a tiny metal zipper pull would be nice. Now the two issues, and these really bug me. 1. The photo clearly shows these shorts with metal grommets for the drawstring. There are NO metal grommets. It would add to the quality, aesthetic, and look of the shorts to have these grommets. 2. There is a 15% discount advertised when you check the coupon box. This company is really bad at math because the discount they gave me was only 5%, no 15%. I have purchased four of these shorts at about $18 each (4x$18 is $72). I would like my remaining discount of $7.20 please. A refund to my Amazon account for $7.20 would be just fine with me. And if I get it AND the vendor corrects the problem for future purchasers, I will revise my review. But for now, please note that this vendor is not giving you the promised 15%.

Great pair of swim trunks, but not fond of the Large zipper on the pockets - probably would not have bought if I'd see this up close. I am 34 waist and ordered XL - fits well.

Tried something new, but didn’t like them. They feel cheap and the zippers feel bulky. Not great for working out

I like the shorts but the pockets get exposed below if you have anything in them.

I'm 6' 200 pounds and the XL fits just right. These are like classic men's shorts from the 80's. They're small but not like comically silly or scandalous micro shorts. I think the size is perfect. The fabric is a bit more sheer and flimsy, I'd prefer something more like canvas. I don't like the zipper pockets, the zippers are very chunky and bulky, you can feel them when you run.I wish they made these without the zippers, I would buy more.

Wanted a suit that would show enough of my quads and be form fitting without being too... "European".Does this perfectly. Also fits my pixel 6 pro in the zipper pockets.
