Stay away from this product - it is useless and Kensington customer support is even worse. The case broker within the 2-year warranty period - the plastic just broke at one of the corners and no longer supports the device as a result. It was not dropped or handled harshly, it just snapped.Kensington opened a 2-year warranty claim for this item, recognising a valid claim. But, it is out of stock with them and that's been the story for two months - their own website links to two external retailers (inc. Amazon) where the product is in stock, seemingly this does not matter.Been chasing Kensington for two months now, still no idea when the replacement will be made available. Useless product and unhelpful customer support. Avoid.

In addition to being an easily breakable item, the design is too bad. It has elements that are not useful to us and that do not serve the ergonomics of the product. This item was a disappointment to buy

I had brought kensington rugged case for my SP4 years ago, it was great and i used it for 4 years no issue.I recently upgraded to SP9, brought this new rugged case and very disappointed of its quality not comparable to the older version.The pen elastic loop thread came off after 1 monthThe case does not fit well, the bottom frame is not straight, pushes out the keyboard when i attach it. Most of the time i will need to attach the keyboard a few time to get it connected properly.I have emailed to kenginston customer service with no response.

The rugged case is not that rugged. After just 5 weeks the plastic bar at the bottom simply broke off at one end and now dangles awkwardly. I have certainly not been rough with it - so given its supposed to be rugged, but can't even cope with normal use... I am wondering if it is actually fit for purpose?Needless to say I shall be looking to Amazon for a replacement or refund.
