Great chair for the money!
I hesitated between this chair and another, much more expensive one. I chose this one because of the breathable lightweight material - mesh. In California, that's important. Wow! The comfort and support for my back, and the adjustment to my parameters exceeded all expectations. I didn't expect to get such a cool ergonomic chair for this price. The chair has a wide seat, armrests, shoulder room, adjustable headrest, and back, and leg support. Great ergonomics, overall design, and price! Thanks for a great product at a modest price!

Best
The Hbada E8 Ergonomic Office Chair is a standout middle-ground model—offering robust lumbar support, premium features like a footrest, and a solid build—without the high-end price tag. It’s especially ideal for those with back issues or anyone who wants extensive adjustability. Just watch out for seat comfort over long sessions and ensure armrest height works for your desk setup.

Good chair for the price
Just received and assembled this chair a few hours ago. I'll start by saying I've used chairs from $150-$1500, and can say this seems like a good chair for the price. I do notice a few things immediately. 1. The armrests are very high, even at the minimum setting. I didn't see any dimensions on their page, and took a chance. 2. Lumbar support may not be for everyone. 3. The neck rest adjustments don't lock in well enough. The great: I'm very happy the company shipped to me. I live on an island, and they were one of the few vendors to ship to me. Thank you! The negatives: The armrests at their lowest setting felt too high, even without a desk. When I rolled it to my desk, the armrests interfere with the slide out tray at 65cm (25.5") above the floor. At this point, I'm also way too low to be comfortable at the desk itself. My solution was to remove the armrests, which is a bit of a disappointment. I may try to disassemble and alter them to go lower (or live without them). I have an old Steelcase chair, and the armrests go down to ~59cm (23"). If these armrests went down to match, or lower - it would be great! The lumbar support doesn't move with you when you lean back. The lumbar support stays stationary, meaning it pushes up along your back as you recline. This causes my shirt to bunch up, and I feel like it 'hugs' too much. Maybe some would like this, but it feels awkward to me. There is also no way to adjust it. You can raise/lower the whole seat back to find a sweet spot. Maybe I will get used to it. Neck rest seems highly adjustable, but if you lean back and put a little more weight on it by adjusting your shirt (see above) - then it snaps down. This already happened several times on Day 1, so I have to assume it will get worse over time. Also important: I am not a large person. I am 167cm (5'6") tall, and weigh about 68kg (150 lb) with an average/fit male build - and this chair seems small. You can see in the picture that my hips cover the seat side-to-side when sitting. If it were larger, by say 15-20% - I think it would be MUCH more comfortable. Wrapping up: A few things were also better than expected! The leg rest is actually pretty sweet. I thought it would be a gimmick, but it is solid and comfortable. I was also surprised to see a seat adjustment for sliding forward/backwards. This is usually more of a high-end feature. I am probably spoiled by using chairs in the $1000+ range every day, so there are certain things you get accustomed to and appreciate, but when I look at other chairs at this price - I have to say this is 4/5 for the value, and maybe 5/5 for some. The build seems solid at the price, and it is what is advertised.

What am I paying for exactly?
At first glance, this chair seems like a good value. It offers many features that are only available on other more expensive chairs. However, once you begin putting it together, and then finally sit in it, the value is instantly lost. Firstly, the chair materials are very cheap. Upon opening the box, a strange factory odor is instantly noticed. The instructions actually mentioned this and call it normal. It’s not normal on other chairs of equal or even lesser value. A week of sitting assembled (while I waited for an opportunity to disassemble and return) did nothing to lessen the smell. Secondly, the finish of the materials is very cheap - as you can see in my photos. The metal used is essentially pot metal and where it is finished, it’s finished poorly. While disassembling the chair, I actually cut myself on an edge of the supposedly finished/polished chair back, so buyer beware. The leg rest extension is a rough cut from sheet steel that’s been quickly painted. Ridiculous! The features the chair does offer are half-baked. The leg rest is OK despite being cheaply designed; however, I’m not sure how you’re supposed to use it as even taking it away from your desk, and attempting to fully lay back, does not let you recline. The lumbar is too stiff to allow any actual comfort instead feels like you have an internal organ injury. The sheer weight of this chair, whether because of the cheap materials or not makes it incredibly unwieldy and difficult to maneuver. This makes it so that any movement to adjust your position undos any of the individual adjustment (such as the neck or arm rest or back height). While chair preferences are a very personal decision, and depends on your individual body, I cannot imagine this chair being good for anyone, except for the seller and manufacturer, because it is a huge disappointment and poor value.

Decent quality, but not for overweight or short people
I bought this chair based on the reviews of the base model from Hbada. The base model got good reviews, so I hoped that this chair would not disappoint. 1st the good: Good: - Overall quality of the chair is decent. After assembly, the chair seems reasonably solid. I am 5' 7" and weight 275 lbs. and I felt that the chair would support me reasonably well. - The chair has a lot of adjustments that allow for customization of the chair. The neck and back heights are adjusted manually and should adapt well to people of varying heights. Bad: - If you are below 5' 7", the adjustments for seat depth and seat height may not be sufficient for you. For my size, I have short legs (28" inseam) and the above mentioned adjustments were bottomed out for me and I still wish I had a bit more room to adjust. If your legs are longer the chair might be fine for you, just be aware of this limitation. - The sides (wings) of the lumbar support, protrude forward about an inch or so from the backrest. At my weight, I have some love handles and the wings of the lumbar support push hard against them. The result is that I do not feel like I need to sit away from the backrest to keep my kidneys from being crushed all day. If you are not overweight like I am, then this will likely not be an issue for you and you may even find the support welcome. Again, something to keep in mind. - The screws and allen wrench that came with the chair are of poor quality. The wrench did not last past the halfway point of the assembly and several screws became stripped far too easily (with a fresh allen wrench that I had on hand). The assembly does come with spare screws which is a good thing, but I was not impressed with the metal they used for the screws. Unfortunately, for the reasons listed above, I will be returning this chair. Perhaps it will work better for other people, but it did not work for me. I hope that this review helps other make a more informed decision.

So, so close...
The chair itself feels great. Has plenty of weight to it, feels nice to sit in. The problem comes after having owned it for a while now. Arm rests that are not able to be tightened, but come loose and wobble back and forth. The back absolutely refuses to stay up, especially if you have it in a reclining position. I'm having to get up and re0adjust the whole thing every half hour at least. This is NOT a cheap chair - use that money to buy one that stays where you leave it.

Decent chair if it lasted.
I bought the $450 version of this chair, with the mesh bottom upgrade, the upgraded arms and metal back arm. The chair wasn't too bad to assemble, relatively simple and easy, if taking a little bit of time. But no problem doing it by myself. At the end of assemly, I unpacked the headrest and noticed the arm was snapped in half. A bit disappointed considering how well everything was packaged. I wasn't able to return the chair for a replacement, as I had stripped a couple of the heads on the bolts assembling it. I contacted them through Amazon questions and they told me they don't stock replacement parts. Insteaf the gave me a full refund without returning the chair. Awesome customer service. Unfortunately, despite this, I can't recommend the chair. I've been very gentle with the chair, as I've been worried about stretching the mesh seat from sitting down too hard, and this is an expensive so I want it to last. That won't be the case. I went to adjust the back height, as it had fallen to it's lowest setting. It uses one of those systems where you lift it and it clicks into place. Lift it all the way up and it releases and slides back down to the bottok setting. Well trying to adjust it, it was stuck. I got up and tried from behind, with a foot on the base, and lifting from under the bottom of the back rest, and eventually was able to get it loose and adjusted. I didn't use a lot of force. Every time it falls back to the lowest position though, it gets stuck again. I noticed one time while doing this, the top arm of the backrest is cracked all the way through. Maybe this was lingering damage from shipping/handling like how the headrest was broken. But it doesn't instill faith in the product, and this will end up breaking soon I'm sure. To have a heavy duty upgrade for the back, but not reinforce anything beyond the arm feels pointless if the rest of the back doesn't last. The short of it: 18 days, of very gentle use, by someone of 220lbs, and the chair is on its way out the door. Which is really too bad, because while it lasted, the chair has been incredibly supportive and otherwise felt like it was good quality. The lumbar is designed great, holds you well, hits the right spots, isn't too firm or too soft. The mesh seat is great. I had planned to give it a good review at a month if all was still good. But sadly the product just doesn't hold up. A more robust and reinforced product around this price point would be an amazing product, but as it stands, I can't recommend it.
