Flexiliner Pond Liner 5X4m with 40yr guarantee and FREE Underlay

Just fitted this at the weekend, it’s more plasticy than rubber and our pond is a simple oval shape with ledges and found a lot of creases when laying. Water pushed it into place and helped smooth it off, but am wary of the creases further down the line. Also used a felt underlay as ground was a bit stoney and free underlay that came with it was more of a thin breathable membrane like used in the garden. Our pond is approx 3 1/2m long including slopes and 3m wide including slopes to, so this was ample and the underlay we crossed over the felt one to give more cushion.

Item arrived within 4 days. A little concerned that the outer packaging was ripped, but on closer inspection the liner inside seemed ok. All comes as described, except the underlay comes in two 5m x 2m pieces. Like a lot of things it's the preparation that is often most important - make sure that you remove as many stones and sharp objects as possible, and when fitting the underlay (I also supplemented this by using some vinyl flooring and cutting up the large builders/sand bags) make sure that no further stones or sharp objects fall underneath the underlay or the liner - especially the liner.Depending on the shape of the pond, (as you start filling with water) you will have to carefully fold the liner to look as neat as possible. The more uniform the shape of the pond, the less you will have to worry about this. .All in all, an excellent product and very good value for money.Hopefully it will last 40 years and out live me!

Great Value liner , but before I bought looked everywhere to find out material used , thought it was PVC but arrived it was LDPE , the PVC was only £5 dearer . but it is guaranteed for 40years and came with basic underlay .

Bought this having worked out exact size I needed with their calculator. It's done exactly what I wanted and very easy to manage. The fleece is just like weed suppressant fabric so if you are expecting something thicker, you will be disappointed. You must either line the pond with sand or make sure all the stones have been picked out to be absolutely sure any liner will stand the test of time.

Pond liner and underlay arrived quickly and was installed without any problems.We then had 125mm of rain in one hour which lifted the liner from underneath,now all re installed and working great with Koi carp still alive.

Delivered VERY quickly and well packed. This product replaced a liner that had been in place for about 35 years, was leaking due to tears etc. Once the pond was emptied (biggest job) the new underlay and liner was easy to postion and fit, which I was able to do on my own, following the simple instructions. Now all I ave to do is restock the pond with new plants, pump, wildlife etc! Thank you, an excellent product.
