Great shoe, fit was off for me
Love the shoes. Just what I was looking for. However, the fit is unusual. I normally wear a 7. But the toe box was too narrow, and my foot slipped out the back. I had to return for a 6 1/2 wide which fits just fine.

Ok for the price
They’re not bad considering they’re $100 cheaper than better loafers. I ordered an 8 1/2 wide in black and I would say that they’re pretty true to size. The heel area is a little large so I’ll probably have to insert heel grips. They’re not horribly uncomfortable and the leather is definitely cheap but they do look like the classic penny loafer.

**Comfort meets style - perfect school shoes!**
I recently purchased these school shoes for my daughter, and they have exceeded all our expectations! Here’s why we love them:**Comfort:** From the first wear, my daughter reported that the shoes were incredibly comfortable. The cushioned insole and breathable material ensure that their feet stay comfortable throughout the entire school day, even during recess and sports activities. No more complaints about sore feet!**High-End Look:** These shoes have a sleek, polished appearance that rivals much more expensive brands. The stitching is flawless, and the finish is impeccable. They look far more high-end than the price would suggest, making them a great value for the money.**Style:** Not only are these shoes practical, but they also look fantastic. They pair perfectly with both school uniforms and casual outfits. My child has received numerous compliments from classmates and teachers alike.**Durability:** The shoes are made from high-quality materials that are built to last. After several weeks of daily wear, they still look brand new, with no signs of wear and tear. This durability is essential for any parent looking to make a worthwhile investment in school footwear.**Easy to Clean:** Keeping these shoes looking sharp is a breeze. A quick wipe with a damp cloth removes any scuffs or dirt, and they dry quickly, ready for the next day’s adventures.**Conclusion:** I highly recommend these school shoes to any parent seeking a combination of comfort, style, and durability. They offer excellent value for money and have made school mornings a little easier for us. We will definitely be purchasing another pair when my child outgrows these!

Don't even know why I have other shoes
I had a pair of Eastland loafers that I purchased five years ago and wore them religiously for work. Unfortunately, I didn't take as good care of them as I probably should and they looked pretty tired after awhile with the seams looking a bit frayed and marks on the leather. They still held up but didn't look that great. I decided to get another pair but ended up with a larger size this time (either my feet grew or Eastland changed their manufacturing). I wear the thinner trouser type socks with these. At first the loafers may feel tight or that they might be uncomfortable but with most leather shoes, they conform to your feet after a short time and they're fine. I've never felt actively uncomfortable in these even in the beginning. These are great because they go with absolutely everything - jeans, trousers, casual, business. They are made in China according to the label inside but they are of great quality. My previous ones didn't hold up because I work in an office/warehouse environment and stepped in stuff I should have wiped off right away and didn't. These are easy to clean. Just take a wet cloth and wipe whatever you need to off. The soles never wore on my old ones and I wore those things everyday. I work in an environment that can be slippery and I've never had issue with these as far as traction goes. I also have kitchen tile that turns into a glacier when wet. I've slipped on it with other shoes I have but never with these. I walked with these in the rain and the finish is such that you can generally wipe them off when you get inside and you're good. I wouldn't go walking around in puddles with them but walking outside on a solid surface when it's raining is fine.I like these so much that I got the navy, burgundy and tan ones as well.

A Great Shoe for the Money
Always wanted to purchase this style of shoe again. Comfortable, size is great, after a few times worn they are as slippery but I prefer the leather bottoms. All around a great shoe!

Sizing was difficult, a pain to break in
Sizing these shoes properly was a giant pain. I don't have particularly wide feet, just a bit on the wider side of the spectrum, and getting a shoe that I could fit my foot into that wouldn't slip off when I walked was a giant pain. For reference, for Eastland's saddle shoes I wear an 8.5, I needed an 8 wide for these shoes. The breaking in period was painful, I definitely needed to space out the wears, and am incredibly grateful that I never intended to wear these without thick cushiony socks (gives a very vintage look). It took about a month to break it all in, but now that I have these are a firm favorite. They're comfy, and slip on and off really easily, so I'm always reaching for them. They were definitely worth the money, and I will continue wearing them until they die, which will be a while given how my saddle shoes are still in excellent condition after 4 years.
