Makin's Clay Pistol, Set of 1, Multi-Colour

Excellent. There's a much bigger better more expensive version available but this one is fine for the fondant bits I occasionally need and I love it. Can't say I use it every day but it's so good for making even rolls, it's worth the outlay just for that. I make long grass, hair, twists... You just have to make sure the fondant / gumpaste isn't too stiff before you load or it won't squeeze out the apertures. Nice piece of kit.

Wow how did I ever get on before with the old straight push extruder? This is a thoroughly professional tool that does not need superman to operate it. The screw down works sooooo easily and it is a dream to clean up afterwards. Don't waste your money buying the other cheaper types. And the price / service was spot on.

Brilliant. Lovely little device. Ordered from the states, so naturally a slightly longer delivery time, but it arrived well packaged in pristine condition. I have used two of the settings already and the results are lovely. You do need to clean it immediately after use or the clay will become hardened, but this takes seconds - certainly much less time than it would take to achieve the kind of results it offers by hand. Very happy with my purchase.

Tried this out only once to see it it worked it is excellent. The sugar paste came out really easy. I loved the fact you could make really thin string and those with lots of holes so one can make hair. Great Took a lilttle longer than most things from Amazon but that is because it came from the states. s till good service

Excellent little tool for cake decorating! Make sure you knead a little trex into your fondant or modelling paste to stop it from sticking. Also once you have finished using it take any remaining fondant out ASAP as it can get very stuck in otherwise. It’s great for spaghetti, borders, little details and edge strips and so much more! I used it for the edge of the hat for my Christmas robins.

It’s ok quality does the job but it’s got discolored after putting it on the dishwasher so I give 3 stars cuz it needs to be hand washed and not easy to clean

Initially the delivery and price were gr8/ the extruder looked a good quality/ and I really enjoyed using it for a few days. The effects on the polymer clay were just amazing! I noticed the clay caked up the screw threads a lot which needed cleaning constantly between each single use. I forgot to do this once and the front stayed locked onto it. So I had to force it off which damaged the screw thread/ resulting in it not being able to cope with the pressure and the front comes off constantly/ rendering this gadget useless. Looking at other shops selling this gadget it says: Makin's clay on the extruder/ the one I purchased does not say this. And on the wrap it says:[...] Since I only got a few days use out of it... i would not advice to buy.

This may be more expensive than the extruders you have to push down manually, but it is definitely the one for people like me who struggle with getting lids off jars. It is really easy to use, you get a good, smooth extrusion of clay with no effort whatsoever, and with 20 different discs, the range of extruded shapes is great. I would have preferred the half circle to be slightly smaller, but that is a really minor gripe. If you want a professional finish, this is ideal, though obviously, as with all extruders, the clay comes out matt. I really like this product, it has given me loads of ideas for making stuff, and it is well worth the price.
