Not going to compare this to Aventus, this review is on this product on it's own. If I had to compare this to a designer scent I would say it's somewhat similar to Gucci by Gucci (now known as just Gucci pour homme) with birch added to it. It's about department store designer fragrance quality to it. For some that is not good at all, but for 99% of people they will never know or appreciate $500 niche quality fragrances.I can see why others say this is a year round fragrance. I imagine in the heat the freshness will stand out, whereas in the winter the smoky birch will stand out more. I would personally use this as a daytime/warm weather fragrance, I prefer a more incense/frankincense smoky in the winter such as acqua di gio profumo. I also prefer a fresher fruity vanilla like versace eros in the dead hot summer or a fruity aquatic like bleu de chanel. This is a good spring scent to match the freshness in bloom and a better fall scent to match the smoky feel to the changing colors.I would not recommend this as a work fragrance because it is very strong, unless you use one spray as a mist over you to keep it weak. I prefer softer, somewhat inoffensive (some may say generic) scents for work like boss the scent or the previously mentioned gucci by gucci. The workplace is not a place for a loud fragrance.This fragrance will get noticed, it is unique in a way. It's along the lines of common scents, but it straddles that line with a very loud smoky birch. That being said I do recommend a purchase if the way I've described it sounds like a hit for you. The bottle and packaging are beautiful and so far work wonderfully. The spayer let's out a consistent stream and feels sturdy.I bought directly from Amazon and can attest that the product I received was in original packaging and authentic from this posting. I know there are many others posting with similar prices, I can't speak for them, but this one is legit. Also, I received it 4 business days after purchasing it with free 5-8 day shipping with an order over $49 and the option for as few shipments as possible. I actually got it alone and the day I received it I got an email saying everything else I ordered is just now being shipped and will arrive in 3 more business days. I wasn't expecting such fast shipping. Within hours it was on it's way from southern Florida.Thanks for reading my review, I wish you the best. Also, try acqua di gio profumo, it's by far the best fragrance I've ever smelled. It's relatively expensive but worth every penny. It never fails to get compliments and I love getting a scent of it throughout the day.

I gave it to my husband and he loved it. It has a manly, modern and character aroma. I love how it smells when you use it. It fits him perfectly! He already asked me for another one so as not to be left without it. A perfume with presence, without being heavy.

The fragrance is not too strong and not to weak, it is just right. It is also long lasting. I would definitely buy again

I am very happy with this product. I got great longevity and projection. For the price it is excellent. I would definitely recommend it to everyone besides the extremely rich 😭. Personally, I think it is much more like aventus than aventus cologne. It misses the smooth clean freshness that aventus cologne gives me. The dry down smells exactly like aventus to me. It is definitely harsh when you first spray it, but that only lasts for a few minutes. Well worth the decreased price.Tldr: great aventus clone. Great performance and longevity. Not aventus cologne clone.

Smells amazing and only needs about 3 pumps and lasts all day

Got this for my grandfather as a gift, it’s his favorite cologne. I couldn’t find it anywhere else, especially in a short amount of time and at an affordable price, so this saved the day.

My first time smelling Creed Aventus was an experience I won't forget. I work as a personal concierge at a hotel, and one of my guests walked out of his room wearing the cologne. Generally I wouldn't ask such a question, but it smelled so good that I couldn't resist. He informed me of the brand, and I excitedly Googled what I thought would be my next purchase. Upon seeing the price tag, I knew I wasn't crazy enough to utilize half a paycheck for a fragrance (although I was tempted). Thus began my search for the perfect clone.This was my first stop. Overall, this cologne was a disappointment. I'm generally an optimistic guy, so I'll begin with the positive observations.Positives:1) The presentation and size of the bottle was something I didn't expect. It comes packaged in a beautiful, sturdy white box. After opening the lid, you're greeted by an elegant bottle, firmly placed in a soft material cut-out. To the side is a nice cord whose purpose is to release the bottle from the insert. The bottle is sexy. It curves on one side, which I assume is both for aesthetic purposes and gripability. The top and spray-mechanism are actually metal (as far as I observed. I could be wrong.)2) The fragrance really is fantastic and smells VERY similar to the real thing. It drove my senses wild. Like other purchasers have said, it does come out strong, but will dampen within the hour after applying.3) The price. Wow.Cons:1) In my experience over the past week, this parfum doesn't last long at all. It has little longevity, which a parfum should have. I've found myself having to use several full sprays to even hope for three hours of smelling pleasant and the scent being present.2) One spray of the nozzle releases a large amount of fragrance. It's definitely too much and too heavy for one spray.I'm giving this cologne three stars simply because I believe the main point of a fragrance should be to last. Being at work, I have no way of reapplying and will surely not be bringing such a large bottle to the workplace. As incredible as this smells, I will unfortunately be continuing my search for an Aventus clone that suits my needs.Note: If I were to have paid more, I would be giving this two stars. The price is ridiculously reasonable for what you're getting.
