Battleborn (Xbox One)

Very Short lived. With the customization only extending to skins, and weapons and armour that only apply boosts but do not change your characters appearances, you find yourself grinding without any real notion of why your doing it. Its definitely a fun game and I'm sure if you have a good group of mates to play with then it would again be a laugh for a while longer. However if like myself you were unfortunate enough to have friends who all bought PS4s then you will find yourself giving this game a few sessions jus to see the levels an different characters but once that novelty passes its off to be traded for a £1.

Borderlands mixed with Overwatch but not as good as either.Good looking but very repetitive and the multiplayer seems very unbalanced.I play in small doses with friends and it's ok that way, solo playing is mundane.If it goes on sale for £20 it's a good weekends fun but with multiplayer games like The Division and Overwatch out there for the same price i couldn't recommend this above them.

Brilliant game, I bought this to play couch-coop with my partner and we both love it. It's fun, hammy and action packed. Easy to pick up and play. The only gripe is that it requires an constant Internet connection (so no offline play) hence the four stars.

Unfortunately I missed the apex of this game, in terms of people playing it. You can still find players to pkay with.

It is a shame this came out the same time as overwatch as this would have done better.Not really the same genre as the other game, and definately worth a look at, especially at the bargain price currently

Got this game for my son for Christmas, only to find out that the game servers have been shut down and the game is unplayable. My fault as I should have done some homework but how can this game still be sold? Now have a very disappointed son.DO NOT BUY

My son loves the story part of this game but he can not get on to multiplayer? He is left waiting and waiting and waiting but no game is matched. After looking online this is a common problem for a lot of people. But for the price the story side of the game is well worth it on its own. Would have paid more just for that so we are very pleased.

I got this today. I have to admit to played all the borderlands games for hours and hours. They were huge had a good story and eventually I warmed to the humour in borderlands 2. This game has the same humour, I know I will be turning off the voice soon. Since it was so cheap I thought what the hell, how bad can it be? Well bad is not the word for this game average is. Everything that was good about borderlands is missing from this game. It is completely linear. You go where the game wants you to go.Remember all those cool guns from borderlands? They are gone. You are stuck with one gun and melee plus some special powers. Again this is a cell shaded game.Remember there is a reason it is so cheap. Oh gameplay. Go from point a to point b shoot a lot of robots. At the end shoot a boss monster. Level completed, new playable character unlocked., rinse and repeat.March 2017 edit playing the game it is torture...
