Kosmos Q Pink Butcher Paper - 24” x 200’ Roll for Slow Smoked, Tender BBQ - Thick Wrapping Paper for Sandwiches, Brisket, Burgers & More (Pink)

I've tried using generic store bought butcher paper for smoking in the past but wasn't too impressed. This paper is a little thinner which makes it much easier to work with. I tried it out on a brisket and was able to get it tightly wrapped. It can be a bit tough to get the temp probe through but do-able. I had it double wrapped, per the youtube videos I saw from the seller. At the end of the cook the paper was damp through, but there was still some moisture inside. My prior attempt with generic paper was single wrapped, soaked through, and the meat came out quite dry. Overall I'd suggest this paper over the generic stuff from the store.

This is a UNIT of meat paper.I wrapped some competition ribs with it and they came out perfect. The nice thing about this roll is that you get a piece of paper big enough to wrap while Texas briskets with ease.It's really a good butchers paper for wrapping up meat in the fridge while you let it rest or dethaw, instead of having it sit wet and covered in plastic where it can't breathe.Only cons for this product are it's unwieldy size for home use (where do you put it?) And maybe not coming with a cutter or serrated box where you can unroll it and cut a sheet off easier.I don't even know what kind of box you would be able to put this in though. I just cut it with a knife and it's not really an issue.

Have to admit that one of the main reasons that I got this butcher paper was to use it as drawing paper. It's an old Art school thing. We were required to use it all the time, especially for our drawing classes. Great for making large drawings with a paint brush and black paint. Wasn't sure if it would be suited for my needs because I didn't know whether the logos would be seen through the paper. For drawing paper, this is excellent, though more of a darker reddish brown. Still very workable. The logos cannot be seen through the paper because it is really a good quality thick paper.If it didn't work out as drawing paper, I'd just use it for what it's meant to be used for. I had planned to use it for that too anyway. It's excellent for wrapping meats and other foods. Easily workable and holds in any sort of moisture or grease so that your foods stay clean. Won't affect their taste and it helps to keep them fresh for as long as any very good butcher paper can do so. It's also good to line a table with when eating something like steamed crabs. I grew up picking crabs as a little kid and lining the table with paper was always an essential part of that. This stuff is actually pretty versatile.The roll comes with a sturdy plastic insert that is meant to stabilize the paper on a cutting roller for easy slicing. I don't have one of those, so I'll need to use a mat knife or a pair of scissors. Totally doable.Great for packing lunches, storing foods, protecting tables, or to use as a drawing paper by those so inclined.

This butcher paper seems to be a good quality, nice and thick. Im really looking forward to using it to perfect those long days of smoking meat this summer.

This butcher paper seems to be good quality and is really wide, making it perfect for briskets and other large cuts of meat. The butcher paper I have used in the past is not as wide as this paper, so if I make brisket or another large cut of meat I have to try to overlap the smaller paper which leads to leaking juices and a less even cook. This paper is really wide making it perfect for those larger cuts of meat. Additionally it is a pretty long roll, so I think it will last a good while. Very happy with this paper.

This is a HUGE roll of high quality butcher paper. It's nice and thick, too, making it perfect for those slow smoked meats we all love (like brisket). It locks in all the juicyness as it cooks. I've noticed a big difference since using this paper. I'll never go back to the old way.2 thumbs way up for a high quality product!

I've been using Kosmos Q products for years and love every one of them. From their rubs to their glazes, it's all quality stuff. Their butcher paper continues with that quality. Nice and thick. Not like others that are too thin and fall apart once they get wet. Kosmos Q butcher paper soaks up moisture like nobody's business. It's great for wrapping pork butts and ribs.Can you find cheaper butcher paper on Amazon? Yes, you can. But when it comes to butcher paper, I prefer to pay a little more for the best, and that's Kosmos Q! Keep up the great work, guys.

My husband is going to have lots of Kosmos Q Pink Butcher Paper - 24” x 200’ Roll to use up. When I asked if he wanted this he said sure. I don’t think he realized how large this roll was going to be. He likes to grill and has stuff to smoke on it as well. He hasn’t tried that yet but it also works to wrap up foods. It is not white but a more colorful pinkish color. You can also use this for non food usage as well. Need to line a shelf…cut some paper. Plenty to keep yourself supplied for quite awhile with good quality and versatile butcher paper.
