I got these for my second born, after learning that the hospital beanies are not so cute. These were stretchy, fit perfectly on my super small baby's head, and washed/held their shape. They were soft and warm! Great newborn beanies.

I loved these hats. Had to return due to being too thick for spring and not lasting long. Once my daughter turned 1 & 1/2 months it was too small. Bows come off in wash so be careful of that. They are super cute though. They're not rough. Very soft. Look like the picture and I would recommend for a month or less in age. I would buy again if only for winter months. It was a decent price as well.
