After a long break, this year I returned to playing Rugby.Within 1 training session (lifting in the line out) I was in agony, seems gaming and working on computers does nothing to strengthen your wrists (I said working you dirty minded sod) so knew that I would need a bit of extra support while the muscles build back up.I got 2 of these (for obvious reasons) and they are great, not too restrictive, plenty mobility but still providing support. Due to them having 2 layers (one to close round the hand and a stretchy one for the wrist) you can have this as tight as is comfortable.My 1 con: (not really bad but something to know)I have big hands and the thumb hole is extremely tight (circulation stoppingly so), so these had to be stretched out. I basically stuck them over a big pair of pliers and left them for a night.

I managed to dislocate my thumb a few days ago and pop it back in accidentally! A nurse said I needed a thumb support, so ordered this straight away after reading the reviews. With this brace on, the pain eases almost straight away. It’s rather rigid but think that’s what I need so I’m not constantly bashing it or trying to move it. Not only that but I feel so much more comfortable with this on. The downside for me is, the thumb hole is so tight that it’s painful. And is also cutting off my circulation. And I have teeny tiny hands! So I have had to cut it a little so it is more comfortable. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars!

This is the 3rd type of wrist/thumb support i have Purchased in the last 3 weeks, the 1st one gave good support but fell apart after 5 days, the 2nd one gave reasonable support, and was flexible enough for driving the car,After reading some excellent reviews about the Bracco, I decided to pay the extra and purchase one, excellent wrist and thumb support, made from strong material and has double wrap around the wrist for extra stability, a single wrap around the thumb, which stabilises the thumb movement for extra support, well worth the purchase.

I echo the comments of other reviews who say that the thumb hole is too small. However, it’s merely an inconvenience as if you adjust the Velcro slightly it does bring relief for ten minutes or so, you just constantly have to fiddle with it.It also doesn’t actually seem to do a great job of immobilising the thumb unless you set the three straps just-so, and since you have to undo them all to take it on and off this can be a bit of a faff.All in all this product has worked, as I’ve done gods knows what to my thumb and mainly need it to remind me not to spend hours texting with my left hand.Certainly helped me feel better

Such bliss! The moment I put it on, my entire hand relaxed and the pain lessened considerably (I have arthritis). I have just bought a second one of these to keep at work, in case I don't bring the one I keep at home. The stabilizer is neat and comfortable (although I was unable to wear my wrist watch on top of it). It is unobtrusive and does not even look out of place in an office, where everyone dresses 'smart'. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone; you do not need to have arthritis to benefit from it. It does not make you hot and sticky, so I should imagine a sportsperson might wear it. You can wear it on either hand. It does not extend too far up the hand, either - some of these supports go right up to the base of the fingers, but this one doesn't hamper in any way.

I was a tiny bit sceptical at first, being that it's got springs in it to support instead of a splint. I was pleasantly surprised! It arrived nice and promptly, in a small plastic package that had instructions on the packaging. I have bad tendinitis on both wrists so I tried it on both and it fits very comfortably on both wrists. It's fairly lightweight, and supports the thumb very well! Still allowing for some movement! I also found out that the bracoo wrist splint fits on top of this as well which is an added bonus! I have very big hands and wrists so don't worry if you do too.There are a couple of little niggles, in that it gets very hot in the support, and the velcro piece around the thumb keeps slipping over the thumb itself, but in all honesty I don't mind too much. Certainly not enough to deduct a star.

UPDATE: the velcro sticky bit doesn't last and it keeps getting detached after a while! The first one still works fine but the new design is of poorer quality! This great! So I have the first version of this and was happy with it but since i do wear it every day i need to change it when i need to wash it and it got a bit scruffy. Love the new design, especially the thumb tip one, the first one i cut off. I have thumb muscles atrophy in my right hand and this really helps keep the thumb in place and has also helped with the muscles exercise. The new design is great! Simple black and the quality is better, I'm really surprised it got better since most products worsen!

It’s excellent when you first put it on but gets very sweaty in hot weather!

Acquistato per un piccolo infortunio, dopo qualche mese di utilizzo (lo uso ancora solo ogni tanto al ripresentarsi del dolore al pollice) mi ritengo soddisfatta dell'acquisto, in quanto è un articolo che per la sua funzione dovrebbe essere il più possibile personalizzato e/o adattabile, e così è: già la confezione è molto curata e di qualità, il tutore stesso è ben fatto, regolabile, con buoni materiali, solidi ma traspiranti. L'unico aspetto che può essere considerato negativo rispetto ad altri modelli è il fatto di non poter estrarre al bisogno la stecca, o di poterne inserire una +/- rigida, ma considerata la qualità del prodotto in sé e il risultato ottenuto grazie ad esso, personalmente è una mancanza trascurabile.

I've tried a few of these, including a couple I found at the local Shoppers Drug Mart. The Bracoo version is the best. It really works to stablize my thumb and relieves the tendonitis. I've started wearing it overnight and it is great to wake up pain free. Fantastic product - I would recommend this to others.
