Amphora Aromatics Lavender Gel 60ml

I’ve been trying for ages to find a replacement for the Boots lavender gel that was discontinued and, at last, I think I’ve finally found one! This gel is a bit runnier than the Boots one and obviously not quite as hygienic in that it’s in a jar, instead of a tube - but it’s a perfect dupe for the Boots one in every other way. Really effective for insect bites and irritated skin, and with a really good, strong smell of lavender. It healed a sore on my hand that had been bothering me for weeks within three days. Highly recommended!

The scent is not too overpowering and as some reviews said it is not a hard gel, more runny. The good thing about that is a little goes a long way so better value. I use it not only as calming, but also on bites and some sunburn to sooth. It works for me and just what I was after.

Forced to buy this product when the one I used to buy in a tube was discontinued. A must on holiday for any cases of overdone sun. A bit more watery than gel but does the job.

I have been using this product for years as I tend to be a bit clumsy with the iron and oven trays. Applied immediately after a burn it takes the pain away. Reapply as necessary.

Just a lovely gel. Bought this for post waxing. Did the job at calming my traumatised skin. Feels luxurious. Smells great, not overpowering, lovely and cooling.

Used this lavender gel over some years and quality is always consistent. Lovely soothing effect on any skin irritations, good for minor burns, seems to speed healing.

I like the fact that the gel lasts well, having a screw top lid. It is used to ease minor burns in the kitchen and small abrasions from working in the garden
