I have used derma rollers during the past. This Evan Alexander roller has fine titanium tips at 0.25mm depth. The box comes sealed. Inside the paper box, the roller and storage box was also in a sealed bag. The storage box is great because it's important to keep the roller clean and damage free. Just one damage pin could cause harm to the skin. Initial inspection showed all pins properly installed and no bent pin. The roller surface was clean with no debris. I sanitized the whole roller and the storage box by spraying rubbing alcohol. The roller did not discolor. So everything checked.Despite this roller is only .25, for people new to this, feel free to try a numbing cream. I use a numbing cream every time. Just wait an hour, clean up the numbing cream before using the roller. This Evan Alexander roller moves smoothly with no wobbling feeling. It does not drag across the skin. This roller has great quality pins. They are sharp and straight. This is a good thing. The only thing about this roller which may be an issue for some is the handle. Compared to my other derma rollers, this handle is slim towards the middle almost like a razor. For people with larger hand or thick fingers to use this, it's best to get familiar with how to hold the roller before starting on the skin. Other than that, good quality roller.

It's not painful at all, just know your threshold. It's a well made device that is meant to promote blood circulation and growth. Time will tell if it works, so far so good.

I’m a fan of micro-needling. I’ve seen great results in the past. This specific unit is as described and works as expected. Make sure you sanitize it before and after use with isopropyl alcohol. Be patient with results. As long as you keep at it consistently (at least 2x a week) you will see results. Pretty solid quality, I approve.
