Original blade, first class way to bring an old tool back to life.
Decided to get my old surform out for an odd kid but noticed it needed a new blade, as the young lad in my local hardware store had no idea what I was talking about I looked it up on Amazon, the blade was a reasonable price was delivered quickly and fitted perfectly. Well done Amazon.

Fits my surform S642
Fits my old surform S642. I like the look of the Stanley surform planer, so made a little removable handle for the front. Having read reviews of the blade snapping when fitting, I did not tighten the adjustments too much. It is what it says on the tin, a replacement blade. I have bought bit with the understanding it will not last forever and will have to be replaced. Having used it, I think will be able to make quite a few items with this blade.
