Samsung EB-BG900BBEGWW G900 Galaxy S V

The battery is exactly as expected and fits my son's UK bough S5 fine. My biggest concern when buying a battery was not ending up with a fake as I did not want a dangereous battery in my son's phone. I compared to the original battery that came with the phone and it is identical except for the serial number and date of manufacture (2018). The battery must have been manufactured to the same spec as the original because even the slight raised part under the plastic cover is the same. The packaging looks completely genuine too. I am certain this is an orignal battery. The one I bought was from mobiledirect24 and it was received quickly and I also received a proper VAT receipt. If you are worried about buying a fake battery I would definietly recommed this battery form this seller.

Original battery same problem tho' the S5 phone is too slim to hold a big enough battery to keep the phone going all day - unless you are sat a a desk with a charger which sort of diminishes the benefits of a mobile phone. No worse than a lot of other phones.

This has become the main battery for my Samsung Galaxy S5. It came in the original packaging shown in the photo and it seems genuine. I started having plenty of problems with the original battery that came with the phone two and half years ago. The main issue was that it would discharge quite fast once it hit the 15% level. With this battery this problem is solved and the battery cycle has returned back to normal. It has good value for money and I recommend it if you are looking for a second battery for your S5.

I like to wait a little while before writing a product review, so I have had this battery now 5 months and already it is not holding its charge for long, now I am having to charge my phoned up at least 2/3 times a day. Was expecting it to last a bit longer!!

Unfortunately the battery only lasts 3 hours if I'm not using the phone much and it's power saver is on and all apps are closed.Then it is completely flat :( I don't know if this is because of the phone I bought that is just draining the battery or if it is the battery itself. It's very disappointing as I was hoping the knew battery would solve the problem of keeping the phone charged.

Bought this to replace the battery that came with my phone as, after a year and a half, the original battery gets depleted quite quickly. This battery seems to be genuine. However, it runs out as quickly as my old battery so does not do the job at all and must have been used in a phone before it's been resold. If you're looking for a battery that lasts as long as the original battery stay away from this product.

Out of the box this battery takes and holds charge far better than the 2 year old original does, after it taking a hammering over it's lifetime. After a weekend of use and recharges to level it off, it now gives me 2 days of mobility versus 4 to 5 hours. In fact It's lunchtime now, and I'm still at 91%.

Excellent service from seller and great to know that I really was buying a genuine, still packaged, Samsung battery. Often they are advertised as genuine but are shown without original sealed packaging, usually no packaging at all. This makes me suspicious of whether the battery really is genuine. The price was good value also. The battery charged up quickly and showed a long life in my phone after the first charge.
