What do you do if the wax does not melt?

I had always had problems with the wax plug in my Kenmore Elite dishwasher. I checked my water temp and it was 140 degrees. The issue was that the silverware basket was do solidly built that it shielded the Glisten bottle so that it did not get hit hard enough with the hot water in order to melt the wax plug. I moved it to a bit off-center on the bottom rack and ran the DW on the pots and pans cycle with hot rinse and it performed as it should. Problem solved. TR in CT
