Can the storage box snap with the mixer? I don't want the machine to just sit on the box

I can’t get the storage container to attach. How do y’all get it secured??

I just set mine on top & store it. It doesn’t lock in place

How long are the actual beaters and how long are the beaters overall

The beaters are about three inches. If you add the stems they are about 7 inches from base of the mixer.
