Great gloves! (These aren't for gardening, chopping wood etc) these are more built for law enforcement with high dexterity so you can retain the ability to feel things and handle a firearm without issues. These gloves are my favorite, I keep an extra pair clipped to my belt just incase one gets ripped. Very well made gloves for the purpose they were built for. Comfortable, breathable and easy to work with. You can also use your touch screen phones with these gloves no issues there. At the firing range, absolutely no issues there either. Great gloves to add a bit of protection and cover of your hands while shooting or simply working, searching vehicles and persons etc. Great gloves. Highly recommended. (NOTE again: these are NOT "hard work" gloves. They were not made for gardening or cutting wood, they were made for law enforcement and sport shooters alike) BUT they would work doing light tasks outdoors but would eventually tear over time. For my purpose (firearms related) they last a long time and do the job with no issues.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I want to love these gloves. The fit is absolutely amazing. They are extremely thin, and very well made. These would make excellent search gloves. Here's the rub- the material on the palm is very, very slick. I use skateboard tape on my pistol, and these gloves made it feel like I was holding polished glass. No traction on my steering wheel. Zero grip. Therefore, they are next to worthless to me. I'm not going to return them. These are otherwise fantastic gloves, and they will go into the bin until I find a use for them or give them away.

I have bought these twice - one tan and one black set. They are comfortable and great for everyday use. I have the expensive tactical gloves by a fancy brand that I don't wear because they are not properly sized and the thumb has a web of fabric with the index finger. These gloves are properly designed and made with full fingers and no such webbing effect. I got the XXL and they fit like gloves - what a concept. These are not your heavy protection, heavy machinery type devices. These are your everyday tactical - range type - dexterity items to add comfort and skin protection while giving you enough sensitivity for your carrying, stacking, and shopping tasks. Mind you, there are limitations - (1) you don't get to pick up change or pull a credit card out of a wallet wearing these. They would be great to use a tool to do such fine motor tasks, but (2) these are a bit slippery on the palm side and don't give you enough adhesion/friction for some slippery or smooth surfaces (like plastic cards, glass jars, etc.). On that score, I wear them driving even if they do slide a bit on the steering wheel. I am uncertain whether I like that or not - it's comfortable and easy, but I wonder if one should have more surface friction on the wheel. You just have to take them off when you want to grab a card out of your wallet, mainly because they are so comfortable that you are wearing them all the time and expect them to make everything easy. They are gloves after all - and I bet even Audrey Hepburn would have to take her elbow length silk or cotton gloves off to pull our her credit cards at Tiffany's or the UN gift shop. You will enjoy these gloves, but take notice that they can be slick - and you might drop your cell phone if you don't get a good grip using muscle power. Use and enjoy with suitable caution - like all things.

Good gloves that provide great feel and protection and also great ventilation with minimal sweating.

This is the fit that I’ve been looking for! I had ordered some Mechanix Recon gloves, and was very disappointed. They are ridiculously tight, as if I had ordered the wrong size. I kept wearing them for a day to see if they would break in and get more comfortable but in the end they just aren’t what I want. I got these a couple days later and now I’m happy. These are the same size ordered, XL, and the fit is completely different. I use these to tig weld low amp projects, and they work great. I have the dexterity that I’ve been looking for. I will order these again

I’ve had these for a few months now and I use them all day long, every day. I’m not sure what the negative reviews are about I guess people think that it’s a heavy duty work glove and not a shooting glove. This is the only glove I need, I was looking at the PIG brand but this is half the cost and I can’t think of anything that I would change. Perfect fit, no extra space with folds on the edges like most gloves have, this is basically a second skin, it is very breathable, I am outside all day and I can feel my hands cooling from the vent holes even without any wind and it’s about 97 degrees. There is no con for me, they fit perfectly, I can write with them just as easily as I can without them, they work perfectly on my phone, I can do everything I could normally do without them except I have added grip and protection. If you’re looking for “Extra” grip then change your gun grips!! That should be your first decision, not gloves. So to sum it up, I use them every day all day long, constantly, for months, there is no sign of wear and even washing them does not change anything, they come out brand new. GET THE GLOVE!!
