I had largely given up on finding affordable wireless earbuds that provided a rich sound when I listen to music. I just put these in for the first time. I'm blown away at how much bass I'm getting from these buds without fiddling with the equalizer on my device. The sound is rich, clear and full. Noise cancellation is perhaps among the best I've ever had, in any price range. 5/5 stars for both sound and noise cancellation.I started off with wireless earbuds in the $50 - $75 range several years ago. I was not always thrilled with those products, though the wireless ability was convenient. I've since gradually downgraded how much $ I'm willing to spend on wireless earbuds since the features are usually so hit-or-miss. These red/black buds are $14.99 right now (10/4/23). I'm ordering another pair. That's how much I like them.I like how lightweight they are, considering how sturdy they feel. I have small ears. Finding buds that fit and are light weight is never a guarantee. I give these 5/5 stars for both features.The neckband, the wire that connects the buds to each other, so you don't lose them when moving around, is flat--a great feature--and extremely lightweight without feeling cheap. I have another set that has a rigid neck band that broke where it connected to the right ear bud's over-ear casing. They became painful to wear, and electric tape only helped as a temporary fix. I don't foresee anything like that happening with these. Again, 5/5 stars for this feature.Those are the areas that matter most to me, because I tend to use earbuds over long periods of the day, so I'm extremely pleased.The wireless range seems standard. If I leave my device on my desk at one end of my home, I can't move all the way to other end of my home, a distance of about 60-70 feet, without losing the signal, but it's easy enough for me to move my device to a central location if I'm going to be up and around. The sound is the primary selling point for me.Since this is my first time using them, I can't verify the battery life is as promised. If it isn't, I'll let you know. If you're reading this a few months from now and I haven't updated, then the battery is working as expected (within reason). I know that battery time can vary based on sound volume and how often the function buttons are being pressed, so I always extend manufacturers a little leeway for those considerations in their playback time estimates.I can't imagine these would work well for sleeping, unless you are strictly a back sleeper, or sleep in a partially upright position. I think they are too bulky for anybody else to comfortably use when sleeping.I didn't purchase these to use with a phone, so I can't review how well they function with a phone, but I can say the audio playback functions work seamlessly with my tablet.I think the quality at this price point makes them a great buy for any budget.

Update* I'm not sure exactly what happened but as you can see in the pictures the red light is glowing and that is the normal State all of the time now. Not just when it's charging but after you unplug it it never turns blue it just stays red. And it's glowing around the volume switch which means if light can get out water can get in so it's no longer water tight or even water resistant. The range is still crummy and the battery life has decreased to about 6 hours. Coupled with the fact that if you unplug it the light stays on the whole time which I'm sure is part of why the battery life is only 6 hours because it's powering a light. Needless to say I downgraded my review from three stars to one star. The other set that I bought 4 years ago from a company that no longer is on Amazon just recently kind of fell apart. But even with the wires hanging out in the ear wraps breaking it still holds a charge for 16 hours and still has a much better range then this piece of junk that I got to complement it. Long story short not worth it would not buy again and would not recommend. Below you can read my previous review.I bought these to replace a similar pair of headphones I'd got like 2 years ago. This is actually my 3rd set in this style. The others had range greater than 30 ft, 16 hours of continuous use on a charge, took about 1 or 2 hours to charge, water proof, comfortable and tough. This particular set will lose connection if my phone is in my back pocket or if the phone is more than 10 feet away and not in line of sight with the right side ear bud. Like my head ain't that big ok, but if the phone is 6 great away and I turn my head my signal will break. Audio comes and goes as I move around in the same room. Washing dishes with phone on kitchen table and turn one way I can't hear my call, turn the other and Its back. Stay facing away and it will disconnect, reconect when I turn back.Going to ask for refund.

I've been buying these headphones for 3 years. Everytime I buy them they get worse and worse. This pair sounds horrible. The last pair at least had bass when you dug the head set into your ear. This pair is very tinny with boosted mids and no treble. To make it worse, with the volume all the way up, I can hear distortion. It's slight but it's there. I listen to podcasts all day and voice just sounds bad.This was a $12 pair of headset so I can't really complain but the last pair cost $14 and was league's better than this headset.---edit Sept. 10 2024---I fixed the distortion and ear piercing treble. If you look at the headsets they both have a tiny hole on them. If you cover that tiny hole with scotch tape then the distortion disappears and the headset sounds okay. The bass got a little better too. The older headsets still sound better but at least I won't go deaf from the super high treble now. I upgraded the stars to 3. So far the battery life is excellent and lasts about 16 hours full blast

Exactly what I needed for a great workout and not have to fear losing an earbud.
