Bought 2 of these, a little over a year ago, and one is dead already
All the manufacturer can tell me is to take it to my local seller, but I bought it on Amazon.

Good first impression- Poor long term performance
The media could not be loaded. Out of the box review. After reading reviews for many cameras it seems that most of them are good out of the box but then fail within a year. So time will tell. This fist thing is that I was surprised when it came with a polar screen filter which wasn't mentioned in the description. But it was also taped to the outside of the box like it was an after thought. The downside to the filter is that you see it in the corners of the picture on the left side of the screen. So that means the optical sensor isn't aligned with the lens perfectly. Minor issue. The picture itself is nice and sharp and seems to work well in low light. The camera didn't come with a microSD card so I got the the best one I could find. Video cameras are really hard on memory chips so don't cheap out their. The 12v power cable was nice and long and also had a USB power port on it. But I didn't want to run the cable around the window so I installed a 12v power socket above the overhead console and tapped off the power for the lights you can switch on. It is now totally hidden. One concern I have is that the camera gets very warm to the touch while operating. Heat is bad for electronics so time will tell how well it holds up. Note about the video. It looks better on my computer than it does on the Amazon playback.Update 1 year later. The camera is starting to fail. It no longer remembers the custom settings when power is turned off to the camera by the car.Update part 2. I returned the failing camera under warranty and they sent me a replacement. Took about 10 days.
