Beautifully presented, written with passion and a down to earth approach. Inspiring read about Kundalini yoga!
It's a very inspiring, easy to read, colourful, uplifting and positive book all about Kundalini yoga. Maya writes with passion about how yoga has changed her life and helps her stay calm in an increasingly demanding information overloaded culture. I have recently started a kundalini class and this book really brings it to life and gives me the insight and depth I was hoping to find but it is written in a very grounded, down to earth clear way. There are many practical kriyas and exercises and mantras to try and a bonus of recipes! I particularly like the way Maya has divided the sections into the chakras and the beautiful colours and pictures put a smile on my face everytime I open it. Well worth the money!

Lovely!
I love Maya! This is a compliment to her myriad of yoga dvd's and over all practice/beliefs. The book - specifically is a bit difficult to read (i.e. the pages are full colour glossy with small print) BUT I managed! (Good lighting and did wind up reading most of it close up and no i don't require reading glasses!) Lovely book, wonderful over all messages and so much to learn which only enhances our daily experience AND yoga. Thank you Maya for all you give and share :)

Nice!
It is a very nice book to have. Too bad the pictures for the Yoga exercises are too small. If you are to have the book by the side when you do the yoga, it is a bit difficult to see.

Lovely book
Lovely book, I just ordered the DVD to go with it as I need more motivation to do the asanas. It is lovely to read about her experiences together with motivation for a better way of life. I love Kundalini yoga and this woman has a beautiful spirit for teaching it. A must have if you are interested in Yoga.

Easy to read
I chose this book because I already own a Maya Fiennes DVD which I like very much. I was not disappointed with the book, it is easy to read, suitable for beginners and I have lent it to my daughter in the hope that she might find it helpful as there are sections on mums and children also.

Love this book
Lovely interesting book, beautifully illustrated. Divided into the 7 Chakras which is the same as her DVD's of working through the chakras. Really inspiring.

Inspirational!!!
I really loved this book and still use it from time to time when I need inspiration. It has kundalini yoga exercises, as well as recipies and her story of how she began with Kundalini. I think its wonderfully written because she never sounds as she is just rambling on about herself. She is truly a believer in Kundalini yoga and how it can manifest wonderful things in your life. She puts different quotes that are inspirational throughout the book, but don't think she is just quoting from other people. Everything is very well intertwined. She goes over the 7 Chakras as well covering it's symbol color what it governs and what are the emotions that indicate the chakra is out of balance. It's amazing and must buy. A side note here: if you can get the DVD Yoga for Real life along with the book that is even better. The many of the exercises in the book are in the DVD as an instructional so it's great if you if you'd like to see how a particular exercises is done. Thanks for reading--- Hope this helps.

Very nicely structured book.Gives an insight about chakras and how to Heal them.
The Yoga asanas in the book with pictures and all the additional knowledge in the book regarding chakras and linforamtion about some diets related to them, were very explanatory. Found it really helpful.

A really heartwarming book, with lots of short anecdotes about Maya's life, or those of her readers or participants. I find it particularly well-laid out, and a pleasure to read. The exercises are very clearly explained and the photography is wonderful. This book makes a great gift for a dear friend.
