Brilliant stuff for removing hard ground in chewing gum
Was worried about using this on fabric upholstery but it worked brilliantly and within minutes the hard ground in chewing gum was gone from the passenger seat chair. Fab job.

It does work but it needs patience
A biro leaked ink all over my beautiful mid-century desk and I needed to get rid of it, so I bought this. At first application, it appeared to do nothing. I was ready to give one-star but then I just did more and more applications and eventually the ink was removed. If at first it doesn't work, be patient. It might just take a bit of time.

Remover that does
It works! Easily removed trodden in, hardened gum from beige carpet leaving no trace and no ill effect apparent on the carpet. If using on floor-carpet, be careful not to over wet, this is volatile stuff and will quickly reach the underlay, which will then expand if you flood it leaving a bump in the carpet. I did this and was alarmed that I'd made the problem worse. After a day it had flattened out with no trace so a cautious 5 stars

DON'T USE ON CARPET TILES!!!!!!
Got rid of gum....BUT! Do not use on carpet tiles! The spray leaches through to the backing, dissolves it and leaves a tar coloured stain. Nasty! It doesn't shift.

Didn't work on ink stains on shirt.
Bought to remove ball point pen stain from some white shirts. Dulled them slightly at best... Used bleach and that did the job. Can't vouch for how it works on other surfaces.

It works!!!!
My daughter sat in chewing gum in a new dress first time she wore the dress and was so upset. I tried the "put it in the freezer and scrape it off", which didn't work as it wasn't a lump of gum but smudged into the material. This spray worked brilliantly, removed all trace of gum from the fabric really easily, didn't leave any stains or marks on the material, neither did it affect the colour of the material. Really pleased with this spray.

Does what it says on the tin!!!
Had some chewing gum mashed into one of the rear car seats in my new(ish) car. The company I bought off ... 2 valets later ... said that it won't come out and that they'd need to cut the fabric and patch it. Obviously I didn't entertain that BS so bought this product. Sprayed this on, left for about 2 min then wiped with a cloth. Funnily enough the chewing gum is completely gone with no greasy residue left behind. Looks brand new again. Highly recommend this product for chewing gum related disasters and at £8 who can argue.
