They catch moths well
I've had issues with moths for years now....I can t seem to fully get rid of them no matter what I do. These are a part of my arsenal. I have them all over the house. They do seem to attract the moths and they get stuck and die. The traps are all full so they works dn I've bought them multiple times and bought them for my mom . They're less expensive than other brands too

Problem solved.
They work really well. After an infestation, three years ago, caused by pet food I now keep one in my pantry just in case. I find a moth or two maybe once a year and it’s in the trap. I also keep one under the sink where we keep the pet food.

Cheaper, but may be less effective
I bought another more expensive (purple) brand first, which caught a TON of moths within the first 24 hours. Had to replace traps within a week. Used these for the replacement and only caught 2-3 per trap in the first 24 hours. Less than a dozen a week later. May be less pheromone than the other, or my last traps just already got them? hard to tell.

They work. ...but do they?
I bought several different brands of Closet Moth Traps to make sure that I had a decent chance of getting a quality product. I purchased:MaxGuard,Ecotastic,Trap-A-Pest, andDr Killigan’sI even got a pantry moth trap as well, to verify if I had any of those.Amongst 7 rooms (2 bedrooms, 2 closets and 3 bathrooms) I put multiple brands in each room, with each brand in at least 4 different rooms. For 3 months I’d check every trap once a week. Each trap had more moths than the week before (except for the pantry moth trap – the 4 of those I deployed caught one moth just by chance). The numbers of moths caught in each trap were surprising. No brand failed to catch at least 40 on at least one trap.So now I’m moth-free, right?Wrong. These traps lure in just the male moths. So if any male moth happens to mate with a female before being captured, there’s another fresh batch. I’ve been waging moth war for almost 2 years, and use other trap types as well (zappers, etc). There are a lot fewer of them flying around now, but I just can’t knock them out.I also kept some of each brand, and deployed them 1 year after purchase. NONE of those did well. Out of 16 traps, only 5 moths were caught. So I would recommend buying a new batch of traps every 6 months – deploying half right away, and the other half in 3 months.I checked all boxes for a manufacturing date. None had any on the outside. Dr. Killigan’s had one on the inside flap. Dr. Killigan’s also stated they would be good up to 3 years after manufacture (lies).Recommendations:They are all effective if used right away. Buy the one whose price or design you like. My design preference is MaxGuard and Dr. Killigan’s.If you are not having success, maybe your have different kinds of moths. Or you have expired traps.Hints on use for all brands:Write the date on it before you expose the glue.Bend the cardboard at least a little on the creases before exposing the glue – bending it afterward can cause sticky fingers. When pulling the paper off of the glue, start at one corner and firmly pull towards the opposite corner. Pulling from the center of the top makes it more difficult.

Not attracting moths
I put out several at strategic places and expected more moths to visit the traps. Two out of the five set out remained empty after several days (even a week) and the rest had a few but not as many as another brand I had used previously. To be fair, maybe the moth infestation “peaked” and the problem has been resolved, but I am still swatting many moths in the evening so I do not have confidence with these traps.

Great
Had moths upstairs only not the ones that eat wool as I don’t have wool.

So So
So be carefull with the hanger part it will rip easy and its not a standard size that fits on your closet. Secondly the insert portion does not like to stay inserted. I have caught some moths however I believe the bait is weaker than the other name brands that cost more. I am gong with the micro size wasps now and this is the real fix.

They work!
Shortly after moving into our new, older farmhouse, I noticed small moths flitting about. Not sure if they were coming from the Pantry, clothing or something we disturbed, it became apparent their numbers were increasing. We have dogs, so I don't like bug sprays. My sister recommended these traps as she had good success with them. I bought the 8 pk, putting out 4. Within 3 days they were packed with moths. I pitched them and put out the other 4. A few I hung next to or on little lamps, and found they also caught anything that flitted towards the light like flys, gnats, junebugs and bigger moths. Win-win!. After ordering the bigger pack, I have placed them in a few closets, the Pantry and basement. I can say I've pretty much eradicated moths from the house. The traps are odorless, simple, easy to fold together, sturdy and effective. Highly recommend this product.

Wish they had the moth attractor pad like some do
They are only a sticky pads really and while they do slowly catch them they are not as effective as the ones I got from the hardware store. I will find a solution to use them anyway so they are ok and will catch them if they land on them I just wish they attracted the moths.

not working at all
Four traps were distributed in a room with moths (around 2 per day), never once did any moth end up in a trap. Clearly a broken product was delivered to me.
