I love this movie! Definitely a microcosm of the world today (sadly) on a fictional college campus. A lot of stars in this film and all give excellent performances that make this film very believable. Don’t hesitate to watch it. The blu ray quality is top notch but I only give it 4 stars because there is no bonus content..would have loved to have some interviews on the making of the film.

Really good movie, didn't finish watching until the end. But it started really good.

I LOVE this movie. Showed a lot of things that are still prevalent like racism and peer pressure as well, today!

It came on-time; an all-star cast, including Omar Epps, Tyra Banks, Morris Chestnut, Ice Cube, Michael Rappaport, Busta Rhymes, Kristy Swanson (The original Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Regina King, Jennifer Connely & Lawrence Fishburne - directed by John Singleton!It touches on & demonstrates how liberal victim mentality develops, as well as how Europeans get turned on to so-called "White Supremacist" views. This film also demonstrates how Women adopt the feminist mindstate, & how feminism connects to Lesbianism. It addresses how Minorities feel, in a predominantly "White" institution, all while addressing bullying, sexual assault, pitical, social & economic issues. This film picks up where "Malcolm X" & "American History X", left off. Watch this flick, BEFORE watching "Dear White People" ! America is in the gutter TODAY (2021) because we CLEARLY didnt get the message !😞

If this HIGHER LEARNING BLU RAY did not have a song from RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE (on of my favorite rock bands) heard in the movie I would have ignored it. I have a huge collection of BLU RAY DVD movies and the music in the movies is THE most important fact.

The Blu-ray looks great. If you ever wanted this movie on high definition I recommend you get it. The movie itself is awesome as you already know.

I liked the cast, and the movie was really good. I am just burnt out on all of the civil rights, BLM, protesting and all the bs that comes with it.

One of my GOAT favorite movies from the 90s illustrating the racial divide in America, but through the lenses of young people. John Singleton did a phenomenal job with writing, directing and producing this piece of art. I loved the wokeness we saw from Ice Cube when playing the part of Fudge. Laurence Fushburn and Omar Epps as characters made the storyline even more realistic. Michael Rappaport as Remmy, the freshman seeking acceptance, was the most memorable character for me. If you have never - Please go watch this amazing movie.

They all have their own problems, such as finance, harrassment, personal safety, and self doubt. Additionally, campus life seems to be causing a problem for everyone: racism. Students, already under pressure to perform in the classroom, on the track, or in front of their friends, are strained to the breaking point by prejudice, inexperience, and misunderstanding.This is a Brilliaint film!

Great movie, it shows how good people can get ushered or manipulated into being that which they may not be by pressure or sircumstances. Also covers most topics on discrimination and how the education system can be seen differently by different backgrounds,cultures, races and genders. Highly recommended

"Higher Learning" indeed. Probably the best Teenage Drama Movie ever made. It deals with all kinds of "Problems" groving up and learning about life. Sexuality, Rasism, "How to fitt in" and more!!! Very Realistic & well made !!!
