Great product!
These hip and joint chewables for dogs are great! My dog doesn’t mind the taste, like other products I have used. The chewables are easy to give. I often place them in his food or use them as a treat.

Great product
We have old dogs - they need all the help they can get in their old age. We are so happy with the product. The dogs like the flavor and think of it as a treat-treat.

Works great, boosts energy
My dachshund is the love of my life, and since turning 6 years old, she has slowed down a bit and is more prone to aches and pains. Besides preventing jumping on the couches and other strenuous activities, I was hoping to find something that would help her feel more spritely, and this does exactly that. She's very picky with treats, being as spoiled as she is, but loves these. She gets one every night and very quickly was there a noticeable change. I am so happy I found something affordable that is improving my baby's quality of life. My other dog is very young and energetic but once he gets a bit older I will be giving these to him as well.

Top notch ingredient list; my big doggies like them
Before I dive into this review I would like to preface it by stating we just recently received these treats. I have big dogs who are incredibly active so anything I can do to prevent pain or injury I'm all for. I will update my review after 30-40 days of my boys taking two of these treats per day.So far, the treats are working. I have a coonhound mix and a Belgian malinois who run like crazy whenever we go to the dog park, which is two times per day. One is seven and the other is five, so I feel like it's the time we really bunker down and think of a plan to keep any pain at bay and seriously do whatever we can to adjust our walks and runs to prevent any kind of injury. After all, they are my fur babies.Dry brewers yeast is one of my dogs SERIOUS obsessions. He will find it and he will have it! I think the smell is what he's after, but anyway he definitely did not hesitate when it came to devouring his treats. This is a definite plus because this is my picky guy. It's seriously such a battle finding something both dogs like. I typically can't, so my dog food bill is way too high! As for my other dog, he is always happy and grateful for a treat, a bite, and/ or a meal at any hour so he is a fan! I think this says something- I know this type of treat for joints and pain can be hard to flavor properly to a dog's liking.Anywho, so far this company has a solid indredient list with excellent natural anti inflammatories. I will update this review in about a month.

Dog did not like
My dog did not like the flavor. Tried to give her on multiple occasions and she spit it out each time.

Has more variety of joint support components
I have been using Cosequin tablets for my dogs for several years. I got these to see how they might differ, and I will say that it just depends on the quantity and variety of ingredients as to what you think will be better. When comparing the two NaturVet chews vs. one Cosequin serving size, the Glucosamine is fairly comparable (500mg vs 600 mg), but the Cosequin has 300 mg of Chondroitin vs. just 50mg with these chews. However, 2 chews have 500 mg of MSM vs 250mg for the Cosequin. Then you can look at the variety of other ingredients in these chews: Omega 3, mussel, turmeric, boswelia, collagen - which the Cosequin doesn't have (although I supplement some of these with other things for my dogs). So, it's a bit of apples and oranges to pick which supplement might be better. At this point, I'm going to continue using both, alternating between the two so that I can get the higher milligrams of Glucosamine and Chondroitin from the Cosequin, while also getting the other great things in these chews. I feed a decent quality kibble, some fresh and canned foods, and other supplements and treats. It's really hard to find much in the literature that supports any one ingredient in aiding joint health, and ultimately, there are probably several things that work, maybe in concert with other ingredients, so it's always difficult to decide what is going to be the best option.I feel like these chews offer some great ingredients generally, and if you don't do any other supplements, the variety in these is probably a good option. The dogs ate them without hesitation and they caused no stomach or digestive problems.
