Q: What is actual size of this rack? Measurements in description inconsistent.

62cm x 42.5 cm can stand horizontally or vertically & the depth is 23cm

Q: I only have space for 33cm high, (depth of 22cm and length of 62cm), how easy is it to remove 1 row? Or what's my next best sized alternative

Not too easy. The rear metalwork is all long, single struts. No problem with the front pieces, but you will need to hacksaw the rear, which are also riveted to the wooden parts. This is a really good, strong rack, not impossible to modify but will require some careful sawing!

Q: The picture shows horizontal but can I keep up upright rather than horizontal in a cupboard?

I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't use the wine rack vertically. Mine is used in the horizontal position but I am sure it could as easily the other way. Best of luck. I am delighted with mine.

Q: How much extra height do you have to allow when the top rack is full please, does anyone know?

Hi! Both my racks are placed tall way up. I rack measures 26 cm to top of white wine bottles so little extra clearance needed if you intend to put rack and bottles beneath a surface. My second rack with champagne bottles measures 27 cm so again allow a little extra for the same reason.,Great racks and very stable!
