Cat Zoom Groom

Expected it to be hard plastic but it’s flexible and rubbery. I’ve only had my cat a few months and was wary about brushing her but she loves it. It gives her a massage and being short haired it isn’t too harsh. She is shedding at the moment and this is great for brushing off all the loose fur.

Great, gets rid of lots of hair!

I have a long-haired cat, and mats have been a regular issue. This brush really helps removing hair that would normally end up on the carpet. It also helps prevent mats if used daily. I noticed that since I've used the brush daily, I don't need to hoover so often...My carpet used to be covered in hair, but it's a lot better now.The other benefit is that my cat loves this brush far more than any of the other brushes I have bought in the past, and I have tried many ! In fact with this brush, she purrs and turns over so I can brush the other side. She also lets me brush her tummy. It's a great way to bond with your cat.

The brush is good and the cat likes it, a lot. However, be aware that the teeth are quite fat and therefore can only penetrate the fur to a certain depth. This means it removes all the top loose fur, and some of the matted fur below, but not down deep enough to untangle and remove everything you might like. On the upside, the cat likes it and comes for grooming on a regular basis. As a result, we use this brush in conjunction with another brush to help keep our Persian cat fully tangle free.

I read somewhere that this was a good brush for cats with sensitive skin- At 18, my kitty is now VERY fussy on the subject of brushing. I've tried about every other lauded brush type out there. This one gets less fur off overall (it pulls out only fully shed hair) but doesn't tug at the skin and it's been enough to keep her free of any new matting and smelling fresh. Fur cat get a bit over the place as it doesn't all stick to the silicone well, but it's worth it for a cat that isn't dreadfully unhappy the whole time I'm brushing her.

I bought this on a recommendation from a friend. Like her own Maine Coon, mine hates being groomed - currently with one of the self-cleaning ball-tip brushes. “Zoom Groom”, I was assured, “They love it, it’s like giving them a massage.”I ordered it day before yesterday, and it arrived today. Nothing to complain about, there.Had it not been such a long day, I might have saved the (undamaged) packaging, before going to use it. But, alas, I didn’t. Too late now!And so it was that, after less than 30 seconds of brushing with it - which she seemed to enjoy - I went to clear the built up fur, and realised that one of the teeth has almost entirely detached, most of the way around the base. And it’s the opposite facing to the direction in which I was brushing, so it wasn’t anything untoward, in her fur!Instead - and as someone who has worked with silicon moulds, and silicon of differing strengths - it either looks like the shear strength of the silicon is off, or else it was somehow mixed incorrectly, as the thickness of the silicon, at the bottom edge of the “tooth”, seems thin, or not connected properly to the silicon base, beneath (see photos).Whatever the issue has been, it’s not what I would expect from a brand new item, and a Kong branded item, at that - seeing as how they tout their items’ strength so very much!Had it not been for the fact that she sat for the (short) time I was grooming her, without complaint - something that doesn’t happens with the brush - this would be in the bin by now, brushed off (no pun) as a cheaply made gimmick.As it is, I’ll alternate it with the brush - I had hoped to bin, altogether, but no fear of that happening, now!Second item in a row from Amazon, lately, that hasn’t lived up at all well to the mega star reviews. As she likes it, I’ll give it three stars from the cat, and a distinct “meh” from me.Unimpressed.

We recently rescued a cat whose fur would constantly shed. This brush has been a game changer. Easy to use and she enjoys being brushed with it and as you can see from the photo it's very effective!

This is an item beloved of the cats l was asked to look after.Long fur is entangled gently and short fur is cleared of the hairs shed but not cleared from the body, so no fur balls.

The little fingers wear down and it becomes less effective so I buy a few new every few years. When I call “zoom” my cat comes running.

After trying three other cat brushes and being faced with hissing, biting and swatting both at me and the brush...My angora long haired tuxedo cat LOVES this brush - he now begs to be combed and purrs!!!Best of all this brush takes off more hair than all the others...worth every dollar...now we have a happy cat and a happy me

Excelente produto, retira bastante pelo, fácil de limpar.

Utilisée sur une chatoune à poils courts et mon chaton à poils mi longs. Excellent résultat. Elles en ronronnent. Bien plus pratique que le gant à picot car plus maniable.Quand à la choenne craintive des brosses en métal, elle n'a pas couiné. Je recommande+++. Les poils se retirent très facilement de la brosse puis un coup sous l'eau. Simple et efficace.Bonne prise en main de la brosse.

L'unica spazzola con cui riesco a togliere davvero il pelo alle mie gatte! Davvero ottima, facile da usare e comoda da pulire. La consiglio vivamente.
