Bought a number of these a few months ago, most of them working great, I opened the case on one of the 3.5" this morning that has about 10 minutes runtime at what measures as 5v to find this diode rattling around . Got hot enough to melt the solder and fall off the board.

The media could not be loaded. Really good solution for GUI with MCU. I am using ESP32, works really well. Touch screen with graphics and events, zero footprint in the MCU memory, wysiwyg screen editor and IDE

I didn't know what to expect but this display has not let me down. The model I'd is on the back to make it easier for you to find the startup to create a custom display. I have yet to test this with an esp32 and will update my review when I do.

The Nextion Editor for this comes back from Virus Total as a trojan is several anti-virus/malware softwares. The exe scans show that several of the files it grabs are not reputable and are classified as a trojan.

Only 3 star only because of the touch, it’s resistance touch which requires pressure to activate unlike say an iPhone which is capacitive touch. I kept the displays because they are easy to setup, but for my project went dwin which had better touch characteristics.
