Great keyboard and excellent value for money
I have grown to appreciate laptop-style chiclet keyboards and this compact-sized board does a lot of things right. Someone knew what they were doing when designing it.1. It is an ANSI layout board, also known as US layout. ISO layout, also known as UK layout boards are heresy and this board scores a massive point for doing it right. You can type the pound sign using Alt+0163 combination, deal with it. One currency symbol isn't worth sacrificing a full, proper, international keyboard layout for it.2. It follows a Dell/Lenovo approach to arrow keys (same sizes) as opposed to Apple/HP/MS one (larger side keys). Having different sizes for left-right keys is, once again, heresy, and this board scores another solid point for doing it right. Bonus points for following the Dell logic for the FN-layout of PageUp/Down keys and Home/End keys so that I don't have to remember two different FN-sequences depending on whether I am at my desk or with my laptop in a meeting.3. It is wired. All our office-provided wireless keyboards are resting in a pile, because no one can be bothered to charge them. Wired is the way. Could be improved with a detachable cable.4. FN/Windows keys are in the right order. You'd be surprised how many compact keyboards out there get it wrong. This one gets it right.5. It's REALLY COMPACT. No massive frame around the keys, no space wasted. Nice.6. The font and icons used for keys is spot on. You'd be surprised how many compact keyboards out there use some horrendous MS Paint-drawn glyph for Fn/Windows keys. This keyboard uses very pleasant icons and fonts.7. Despite being a compact keyboard, still has functioning LEDs for Caps/Num/Scroll lock.8. Appropriate shape of keys. Lots of keyboards out there do silly things like completely round keys, or sharp edges on keys, or the keys where the middle is slightly elevated with a 1mm edge... no such nonsense here, thank god.So that is the long list of things it does right. The following are the things that could be done better:1. F11/F12 keys only accessible via FN. I don't know about you, but I use F11/F12 infinitely more frequently than PrintScr/NumLock and would prefer to have a proper F-keys row with PrintScr/NumLock only accessible via FN. I wouldn't mind having slightly shorter F-keys too, like on the Dell XPS series, to fit in the extra keys in the width.2. Detachable cable would be nice. I might just solder a micro-USB connector to it if I'm not too lazy next weekend. With these two things I wouldn't mind paying double the price for it and maybe stockpiling a few spares. The competitors, at least here on Amazon, are still struggling getting the first 8 points right. This keyboard is almost perfect. Get it.

Overall good… however
I really like this keyboard. It’s small and compact for just what I need. Keys are nice to use and the keyboard is quite quiet and the keys do not have the loud clicking noise. However, the reason I have given it 4 stars is because the symbols do not match the keys they are assigned to. The @ sign is on the number 2 but it does the “ symbol instead. So when you press the “ symbol, it gives you the @ sign. It’s a little annoying but I can live with it.

Just What I Needed
Great keyboard. Great value for money. Really helped when my keyboard broke. My laptop's keyboard has stopped working, so rather than buy a new Macbook, I ordered this. The keyboard is the same size-I've made a little plywood board on rubber feet to stand over my existing keyboard and stuck this one over the top. It works perfectly. To answer some of the "complaints" from the other reviews, I don't know what anybody's talking about:1. It DOES include a ££££ sign. You just need to select the European setting when you plug it in.2. It is set up like a Windows keyboard by default, with Control and Alt, but if you have a Mac like me, you can change this very easily in your computer settings. So where it says ALT, I have it set up to be COMMAND like I'm used to.You can even do this just for the USB keyboard so if I unplug it, my existing keyboard is still set up correctly below.3. Finally, and probably most important, it only cost £10. You get what you pay for, what do you all expect? Even if this thing breaks after a month, it's been worth it in my opinion.

Flimsy, inaccurate keyboard
I bought this as a temporary keyboard for my Mac - but within moments of using it I knew I was going to hate it.So what l’s the issue? Well it’s the most primitive of keyboards. The keys are flimsy and are so badly designed that they wobble from side to side. They don't sit properly in the recessed areas and consequently your finger never feels like it lands properly. If you are a semi touch typists then you will hate this keyboard as you are never sure whether the stroke as created a character on the screen. Moreover not a single one of the Function buttons work with a Mac which renders it useless. For £19.99 one should at the very least expect the keys to function properly - which they patently don’t.An utter waste of money!!

Slim - lightweight - plastic not aluminium - mostly works OK - some keys dead
Ordered this for reasons of wanting a small keyboard to use on Apple Mac. Just arrived and tested on one WIndows 11 PC and two different Macs. Tested using ANSI and European Keyboard layouts. QWERTY keys work just fine but only one Function (Fn) key works, but the rest of those and the Num Lock and PrtScn keys don't work. Will test it again but not sure I will keep it.I ordered a full sized keyboard for half this cost earlier this year so I would say value for money for this is not good, even though it looks OK. Packagaing states 'Aluminium' although the Amazon advert did not claim that. Just to be 100% clear, the plastic is sprayed with aluminium effect paint - the product is not aluminium but plastic.

Comfortable, distinctive and compact
Only had this for a few days but am very pleased with it. I'm using it with a Linux-based Raspberry Pi with no problems; it's the US layout so you need to choose this in the keyboard settings, but that isn't difficult. The keys operate smoothly and quietly, it's slim and light but has rubber bumpers underneath so doesn't slide about on the desk. I wanted a mini-sized wired keyboard that would stand out easily from other black ones on the same desk and wouldn't suffer, like so many wireless ones, from Bluetooth connection problems and battery life, and this fits the bill perfectly without being expensive.
