I work on my feet and sometimes I sleep on my stomach and wake up to my toes pointed into the bed 🫤 It was getting to the point where it hurt to walk and the pain was keeping me up at night. I thought it was gout, but I looked deeper and it’s bunion pain. I wanted a name brand to help with this, no random item from China. I’ve been using it for 3 days. First day was pretty painful. The pain stayed in my toe and shot up to my knee. I had to take Advil. Second day got better. Here I am on my third day and I feel it correcting the issue. After I wear it for 30 minutes, my toe is separated for a while, but it’s normal. I wouldn’t walk with it on. It’ll have you limping and does hurt some. So, in the first few days, wear it for 30 mins and find something to do that requires you to sit. I’m a size 8 in women’s, and it’s made to fit any foot. Not sure on the quality, I haven’t had it that long.

So far this is the best brand for me. It has provided pain relief. Very easy to use, stays in place.

I bought this because being on my feet all day with a bunion was causing a lot of pain. Overall, it is very nice. For the most part is is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust the size to fit your foot. It has greatly reduced the pain in my foot. However, the gel cushion is a problem. It rubs against my foot causing pain and blisters. If it was covered in a soft fabric to prevent the rubbing this would get 5 stars. Have not been using long enough to know if it will help straighten out my toe and shrink the bunion.

I bought these hoping for something more comfortable than the ones I usually buy. I usually sleep with my corrector on. That's when I find i can have less painful days. At first I loved these. When I put them on my foot it was amazing. The cushion was so comfortable, however after a few hours my foot hurt so bad it woke me up. I tried them a few more nights because I thought it might take some getting used to. My bunion wasn't as swollen but I kept getting woken up by the pain and had to adjust them. The issue was the center that is hollowed out was too small for my bunion. I was able to adjust the velcro on the back of the cushion to try to accommodate it but still no dice. I removed the cushion and these work so much better for me. Pro: if your bunion is still small these may be a great option. Pro: the straps are not as ridiculously long as other brands. Pro: they are relatively comfortable if you can get them to fit right. Con: the cushion only works for smaller bunions. Con: they are right and left, though you probably could get them to work for either, but where I only have one injured foot i like to buy one that accommodate either foot better. In the end, I may purchase again but I was disappointed that the cushion will not work for me.

Very good, does what its supposed to. Though walking is not very comfortable, as it doesn't fit in my slippers

I have a small bunion that I noticed starting last year or so. Not very painful yet, but definitely starting to cause problems. I decided to try this solely because it is Dr Scholls, because I trust the brand enough to spend $15-20. These are very comfortable, much more so than the photo looks. The instructions are quite easy to understand, and the splint itself is easy to figure out. Very easy to adjust to fit. They seem very sturdy and well made, and I would be very surprised if they fall apart soon. The quality of the materials is very good, and they are very well made. No scratchy stitching or labels, and definitely no jagged velcro. I can feel the ligaments stretching when wearing it, and the information guide does explain that it can be uncomfortable at first because of this gentle stretching. For this reason it advises to start with 30 min at a time and work up to no more than 8 hours. For me, I can tolerate this “stretching feeling” for about an hour here at the beginning. Not sure it can reverse anything already happening, but definitely seems like it can keep things from getting worse at the very least.

This has worked well for me. I do not have bad bunions but when I’ve been wearing wedges all day it provides me with relief at night. It stays in place and the Velcro seems to be holding up well.

I haven’t tried them yet, but this is how the box came. I looked like the box was opened, lazily put back together, and returned. The splints inside looked fine though, they didn’t look used or had a weird smell/ stains. I’ve used splints before, so I’m pretty sure this one will be fine. The splint seems to be one size fits all, and the straps are adjustable. There is also some gel padding bc where the big toe joint is supposed to go. The packaging made me a little worried, however. Update: 5-6 days later So I’ve been using them for about a week and I do not like them at all. They actually made my bunions worse and now they are in pain. The bunion correctors become very uncomfortable and painful after only 2 hours of wear, and I had to take them off because it was unbearable. The pain was so bad that I woke up out of my sleep 2X to take them off. I tried to adjust how I was wearing them because I thought that may have been the reason for the extreme pain, but I cannot do it anymore. In the short time that I have been wearing these correctors, the bunions have grown, so now I will be booking a doctors appointment to see a podiatrist.

Give it some time, and you'll likely experience its positive impact on toe alignment and overall foot comfort.Contrary to the function it was supposed to have, the protective gel can be a bit annoying, but it is not something that calls into question the overall function of the product.
