Yutaka Instant Miso Soup Bonito 7.5 g (Pack of 10)

Makes a tasty cup of miso soup, couple of little blocks of tofu, enough seaweed. Healthy and tasty.

I think the flavour is good, it isn't too salty as you find with many packet miso brands, the tofo reconstitutes to whole cubes nicely and there is a generous amount of wakame and onion. It is probably the nicest instant miso that I have tried.It is a little bit pricey for what it is, but I will buy it again.

I prefer the vegan one but that is only as you can taste the fish a lot more in this one, which is the point haha. Quite strong, very flavourful and the toppings taste so good. So comforting and tasty, would urge others to try and have already got my friend who is such a picky eater hooked!

Mild, but good in flavour and less salty that other products, which suits my low salt diet. The flavour was actually quite nice :) The onions and seaweed are a good addition. I left this in a largish mug 'brewing' for 5 -6 minutes before drinking, by which time the temperature had fallen, the ingredients were 'cooked' and this was ready to enjoy. On a few occassions I added a small amount of grated Comte or Gruyere cheese to give it another dimension. I should probably buy some crutons and try them out next :)

I absolutely LOVE this miso! I'm a huge fan of miso as a very simple and [to me] satisfying lunch, and even though this version is even lower in calories than other Yutaka offerings, it's a very pleasing and uber-savoury cup of heavenly salty tingliness!!!! I have it with a pack of very tasty seaweed thins, followed by a goodly portion of strawberries, melon, blueberries and organic plain yoghurt with a little honey and I am always completely satisfied. I should say that the reason this very light lunch works so well for me is probably because I am more than happy to have a good and sustaining breakfast [porridge, rye toast with butter and honey, a banana and a satsuma], but in the context of a healthy lifestyle this regime is very much part of my weight loss maintenance.Yutaka Instant Miso Soup Bonito has a firm place in my diet and I happily have it on repeat order.

From the thick colour of the soup I expected this to be pretty flavourful, but this turned out to be the most bland miso soup I've ever had.

This stuff is amazing. Unlike a lot of miso this comes as a dried block rather than a paste. Also it contains tofu, spring onion and wakame. It really is instant as the block dissolves almost immediately. I've tried a lot of Miso and this one is my favourite. The vegan version is almost as nice but does not have quite as much body.Recommended
