The Snowman / The Snowman and the Snowdog [DVD] [1982]

The Snowman is a must-see classic for any child (or adult) at Christmas. My two-year-old is now old enough to enjoy it and she sat and watched it, completely transfixed. Something about the storytelling without dialogue seemed to really capture her attention.I hadn't seen the Snowdog before and I was worried that it would be a bad sequel to the original Snowman, but it turns out it's actually quite enjoyable too.

Really disappointed, wanted them for my granddaughters. Not seen the snow dog dvd.... but the snowman is a lovely story. Their parents loved it, but neither of them play on my device so they won’t be watching it any time soon Put one of the other new dvds on and quality is great.

Lovely films and my grandchildren love them, but on the 2nd disc, The Snowman and The Snowdog, the 45 minute documentary "How the snowman came back to life" is missing from the bonus features. In the bonus features there is only the option of subtitles.

Two DVDs arrived on time and well-packaged. Perfect entertainment for Christmas for our grandchildren !!!

Brilliant value. The grandaughter and I love these videos. We watched them last week too. Every must have in a house with a toddler. Arrived in good time too.

I absolutely love watching "The Snowman" every Christmas. Twice now I've purchased the DVD and got a crap remake that shows Santa at the beginning instead of the wonderful opening with the author Raymond Briggs. Why did they feel compelled to mess with this Christmas classic? And why is it so fracking hard to find the original?

The Snowman is wonderful and keeps its magic over the decades. Why, oh why did they make The Snowman and the Snowdog? It lacks what made the Snowman a gem. No magic.

Great dvd set, arrived promptly. Did not need to contact customer service. Would definitely recommend.
