The first time I purchased the small it was a longer length hitting below my hips just like it does on the model image. Normally I fit a M at 5' 5" and 135 pounds with my pear shape. The second time I ordered the small it is to short hitting at upper hip. I preferred the longer length that would not ride up. I will have to try a medium.

I wanted a loose, draping-style t-shirt that was affordable as well. This purchase has been perfect. I'm about 5'5", 120lbs and the small is a wonderfully loose, comfy fit. I've had this shirt for over a year now and washed and dried it many times and it's still only moderately pilling.
