Excellent and lightweight,

First of all as many others have stated the whistle on this is pretty quiet (although for me that’s fine especially when making a cuppa at 3am). Seems sturdy enough although IMO there is a little too much flex in the whistle support and the spring’s strength does tend to bend it slightly so the whistle is not perfectly aligned or flush with the spout. Heats up pretty quick (even on a ceramic oven hob). Compact and ideal for those not wanting to heat up a lot of unnecessary water. Fills easily through the spout.

Now summer is here I am about to start my yearly dog rescue camps around the UK, so when this camping kettle came online, I got it to try out as its 1 Litre capacity is ideal for me. It is a good job that I got it when I did as there have been a lot of power cuts lately so the kettle as come in very handy. So far, I have been impressed with the kettle as it's circular design with a flat base seems to give an even heat across the who kettle, so in turn helps to get the kettle to its boiling point quiet quickly. The build quality seems good as the main body of the kettle is made from a lightweight aluminium, with what seems a heat-resistant handle and pouring hole. The whistle itself builds up in volume as you would expect it too, but not over the top with still a nice loud enough sound. With the kettle being made from a lightweight Aluminium, I would suggest not packing it with any heavy items that could dent the kettle body. Very pleased with this. Big enough to make a couple of cups and boils so quickly

Bad build quality, leaks profusely making it impossible to properly pour out of spout. The plastic handle gets too hot to touch. Serious safety defects, this should not be for sale.

The product looks good, but it is not great quality. I tried it and when you pour water, it leaks from the pouring attachment which is not safe when pouring hot water of course. Also, it doesn whistle as it doesn't seem to seal properly. I contacted the seller and after 4 days, I have heard nothing back. Not impressed and for sure I won't recommend it.

Brilliant kettle to use on a small gas camping stove when we were without electric for 8 hours, makes just enough for a couple of cups of tea.
