DeLonghi EC146.B Coffee Maker with Cappuccino System, Black

My last DeLonghi coffee maker suddenly stopped working after about 6 years and had made a super cup of coffee. This 146 Coffee Maker does not make such a fantastic coffee as before but is quite acceptable. Service and delivery from the seller was excellent.

Did not work leaking unsafe to use

A bit disappointed as the coffee never seems to be warm enough and the steamer always leaks after I have made coffee.

It makes good quality coffee AAA

Not as advertised, leaks, on/off switch not working, no steam, and very poor cup set up. sorry, but totally disappointed with the product.

This unit has zero frills. It's light and plasticy. It's not always easy to firmly close the handle into the unit. The nozzle for the steamer is just a lump of threaded plastic with some small holes. It requires more work to ensure a good cup of coffee than, say, the Scultura - you have to know how much to pack the grounds, depending on how fresh they are etc. You may not get the same levels of crema consistently. But it's nearly half the price, and my last unit lasted twice as long as the Scultura. With patience, you can get an acceptable espresso out of this unit. So I'm back on the EC146 train, baby!

Good product easy to use

The machine performed very poorly, I do have another DeLonghi coffee maker so I know how good they can be, but what was worse was the extremely disappointing performance of the supplier, UK Dapper, who were extremely uncooperative and didn't want top know. It wasn't until I involved Amazon directly in the matter that I finally received reimbursement for the machine. UK Dapper should not be a supplier on Amazon and I would strongly advise anyone against purchasing anything from this company.

Ich habe diese Maschine seit knapp 5 Jahren in Gebrauch und bin mehr als zufrieden damit. Die teilweise recht schlechten Rezensionen kann ich mir nur so erklären, dass einige Nutzer vielleicht zu unterbelichtet sind eine solche Siebträgermaschine ordnungsgemäß zu handhaben. Wenn man sie regelmäßig entkalkt und reinigt (alle 6 Monate) wird sie immer leckeren Espresso produzieren. Auch die Milchaufschäumdüse macht exakt das was sie soll. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis super. 😊

Buen café, tarda poco y puedes usar taza alta. La única pega es que si hay mucha cal en el agua de tu zona tienes que hacer (anualmente) algunos lavados con descalcificador/ vinagre.

Vibra mucho, tanto que se cae la taza, hace mucho ruido, y el café sale muy aguado. Devuelta.

Nicht empfehlungs- wert. Laut wie ein Trecker und die Tasse muss man halten sonst fliegt weg. DeLongi Made in China! Kaffe gut aber macht kein Crema, weil Sieb ist eifachache Ausführung nicht mit doppeltem Boden mit Mini Loch. Probiert mit 3 Kaffe Sorte und 4 verschiedene Mahlgrad - NIX Crema!
