Warning-not marked Fiesta; doesn't hold 19 ounces as advertised
Bowl would have been nice, but it wasn't marked on the bottom like all Fiesta products are, didn't hold 19 ounces (would barely hold 16 ounces). I have another Fiesta cereal bowl that does hold the full 19 ounces - it is just a little heavier and a tiny bit taller & wider. So I returned for a refund.Seller sent a note saying that these bowls were bought from a website restaurant supplier, and are supposed to be authentic. Thankfully return was easy, since it didn't meet my needs or criteria..

Ordered this for the cat. Bigger than she needs, but really nice sturdy bowl and love the color.

Great bowls but arrived looking used and dirty
My wife started collecting Fiesta ware years ago, but most where lost in a couple of move. We had a couple of partial sets, but all of these bowls where lost, so I decided to buy a couple of each color to get our collection back in order. The problem was I bought two of the Scarlet and both looked like they where dug out of the trash. They had dirty looking straw, dirt and some sort of blue stains on both. One of the two was loose in the box, and I was surprised it was still in one piece when I saw it. I hand washed, them and put them in the dishware and they're fine now, but to ship anything, let alone dinnerware looking like that is wrong. The Only Reason For 4 Stars Was They Arrived Dirty! If these two bowls had arrived like the other colors that arrived separately, I would have given them 5 stars. So now on to the bowls. If you like the style, Fiesta makes a great product. They will hold up to serious abuse (as witnessed in the two I received). The colors are great, and because of their color and shade selections they mix and match well. So you can buy a few of each of your favorite colors and they will probably look great together. At first I did not want to mix the colors at first but my wife was sure they would look good together and they do.Fiesta calls these Soup and Cereal Bowls, but since there are only two of us, we use these more for everything from serving vegetables and rice and so on. I honestly believe that you could use these bowls for just about anything that'll fit in them. The bowls have some degree of insulation so that you're not going to have many problems handling with hot ingredients. The price is about what we paid at the Pottery Barn about 7 years ago but since I haven't actually gone out to look for them I cannot say for sure how good of a deal they are. I did do an online search and found this color at the Fiesta Outlet for about $15.00 each with shipping, but that was a current sell price (3/25/13). Honestly for the quality and with Amazons reputation, the price here looks like pretty darn good.Over all Fiesta might not be everyone's idea of what good dinnerware should look like, but they are durable and with the color selection you have a lot of options. In my opinion Fiesta would be perfect for everyday use, and a great gift for any occasion..

Fiesta Ware
It was delivered on time and not damaged. This was a replacement bowl being I dropped the original. The product is well made and stands up to wear and tear (minus dropping it a tile floor). The product is a good value and will use this company to replace other items I have if need be.

These seem like seconds
I generally order Fiestaware through Macy's when they're having a sale. But this time our dog knocked one to the floor trying to get to the cat's food and it shattered. The Macy's sale was over and I found these on Amazon. The prices are good but there's something wrong with each one. I returned one with a chip, but kept the others. Just thought you should know what you're getting into.

color is a creamy orange, not bright clear orange
I bought several bowls in different colors and this "Tangerine" bowl was the only one which was not well represented in any of the many photos (on different web sites too) that I saw of the line. It is pretty, but it has a creamy cast to it rather than a strong orange color. Not at all the bright clear tangerine color I was expecting (and wanting). It is like a mauve version of orange, a creamy, unremarkable shade. In other respects these 19-ounce bowls are great average portion-sized for soups and stews and hot and cold cereals. All the bowls I ordered from Amazon were packed extremely well, and on all but one the color glazing was perfect and extended all around to the base (a scarlet bowl was missing a small fingernail-size bit on one part near the base. Not a chip, but a glazing imperfection). They've been through the dishwasher three times now, no problems, and they are microwave-safe. They are our go-to bowls for everything.Edit: After lots of use, they are holding up pretty well, except we think they possibly do not like very hot microwaving -- my DH makes instant steel-cut oats in these which are his favorite bowls, and cooks it on high for 2 minutes, boiling it in there. Now the peacock-colored bowl has a crack down the middle where some thick oatmeal got through. The other bowls are doing fine, and he makes it in them also. Of course the crack may have originated from rough handling (as we also hand-wash dishes - like maybe something else shifting suddenly onto it in the sink or the dishrack?), but my current theory is that a tiny defect in the original firing has gotten worse over time and use and is now evident. I should emphasize that the other Fiesta bowls I bought at the same time (in which he makes his cereal in too), all appear fine.
