Fun "Ice Breaker" for group of 8 to 12 year olds
Simple and Quick way to get 8 to 12 years olds talking.I had them stand in a ring and someone started with the ball. That person read out one of the questions, and tossed the ball to someone else to answer. If that person catches the ball, they simply need to answer the question, then ask the next one and toss the ball to someone else. If they don't catch the ball ("cool" teenagers can sometimes be "rolling" their eye's so much they can't catch the ball) they need to answer both the first question, and a second one of their choice. There are two balls, with a larger group we "sped" things up and used both - While one ball was being tossed the other was being read / answering the questions - Becomes a bit chaotic but results in great "energy" etc.The writing on the balls is easily readable and didn't rub off or smudge after prolonged use. The balls themselves aren't super durable though, so if your teenage boys start playing rugby with these balls later on don't expect them to last too long :)

Fun!
My 7th and 8th graders love it. Gets them moving and talking about their reading.

Conversation Starters
I had to purchase the conversation starters twice because the GREEN ball would not stay inflated. I reordered it, and once again the GREEN BALL will not stay inflated. I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed in the product.

A Great Sensory "Brain Break"
These before/after reading comprehension balls are a great sensory activity to help children to learn. One way I use them in kindergarten is as a “brain break” before or after a read aloud.I put music on and have children stand in a circle. Then they toss the ball to a friend who has to catch it (or run after it and retrieve it. 5-year olds don’t have hand-eye coordination thing down yet). They continue tossing the ball to each other. When I stop the music, whoever has the ball has to read (or ask for help to read) the question that their hands are on. (If their hands are on two different questions, they can choose one to answer.) After that I give the ball to someone who hasn’t tossed it yet, put the music on, and continue.I borrowed a pump from the Phys. Ed. teacher to blow it up, because the hole was too small to inflate by mouth.

Wonderful way to start class!
My fourth grade English Language Development class has 17 students who speak 12 different native languages. Some children are newcomers and dread speaking in English in front of peers. Warming up for our class with this ball has been key in creating a relaxed, supportive environment where all of the kids participate and we get to know each other. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect for teachers or when you need icebreakers!
This is such a simple yet cute idea! I’m a substitute teacher, I teach all the way from elementary up to high school students, and I can’t wait to use these balls for when we get back from Christmas break. These are really perfect for any age, I can see my second graders all the way up to the juniors and seniors in high school enjoying this. It’s such a fun way to have an icebreaker and give me a chance to get to know the students I’ll be teaching. Each ball has 6 questions on it, so there’s 12 questions total. & each question gives you a little insight into the person that answers it.I’m so happy I came across this and definitely recommend it!

Received with hole
Straight our of the package, one of the balls had a hole in it. No patches were provided. Good questions, but low quality.
