Really cute game!
My mom and 6 year old nephew played this over Mother’s Day and they had a blast! Makes the game of matching so much more challenging and the “fetch” stick card is hilarious haha. Really a fun game!

Nieces and nephews loved
I got this for the kids to play at my house. At first they played by the "rules" but after awhile they started making up their own game (although the throwing of the stick always stayed the same) and had a great time with all versions they played. The cards are adorable, especially if you love dogs. By the time their parents came to collect the kids had a list of new dogs they "needed" to get.

Slapjack !
This is the famous slapjack game with a cute and adorable doggie twist. Growing up my son loved this game and it's really cool that you can get a deck with such adorable imagery just for it. The size of the deck is perfect and the imagery funny and captivating for dog lovers like ourselves. A nice addition to an otherwise bland set of regular cards. I'm sure you can also use this deck for other childrens games like memory and so on. We quite enjoyed it.

Silly, chaotic gameplay
Odd little game that will either be silly fun or violent chaos, depending on who's playing.Gameplay is straightforward, and resembles a hybrid of card games like "war" and "spit". Each card has a picture of a dog with a smaller picture of dog toys in the corners of the card. Cards are divided evenly among players and discarded blindly onto a pile, one at a time. Players slap the deck - literally - when they detect certain patterns of play: two of the same dog played in a row, three of the same toy played in a row, and several other conditions. The first player to slap the deck adds the cards to their pile, provided they've correctly identified the pattern. Gameplay proceeds until one player runs out of cards.A few unique gameplay elements add some chaos. A "bone" card allows any player to slap the deck immediately. A "stick" card is thrown across the room. Players can slap another player's hand into the deck. This is not a game suited for certain types of personalities.Illustrations are amateurish but in a charming way, just silly enough to offset the second tier production values. Cards are nicely made and instructions are clearly and simply expressed. The pattern recognition element might make this tough for smaller children, but kids 8-12 should get a kick out of this.

Overpriced card game
This is just slap jack but with dogs and very ridiculous rules. Save your money and get a real deck of cards and just play slap jack.

Super fun and cute but found one fairly major "playtest" issue
I love so much about this game. It's incredibly cute, and the mechanics are actually super fun. I played it with just one other person, and it was an absolute blast, which sometimes isn't the case with games that can accommodate larger groups. The instructions are clear and concise, and the images are so unbelievably adorable. There's even a list of all dog breeds the creators included on the cards, which is a neat touch that shows just how much they know and love dogs. Here's my only issue, and unfortunately, it's a sizable one: The instructions don't mention anything about what to do when the conditions aren't right for one of the primary mechanics. The "stick" card is supposed to be thrown by whoever manages to grab it first, and then that person is supposed to flip their cards until they find one that matches the dog on top of the center pile. Trouble is, if the stick comes right after someone wins the stack, there's nothing to try to match. That's lame, as the stick part is arguably the best part of the game, and it's certainly unique. Maybe I misunderstood, and if so, I would gladly bump my review up to a perfect score. But as it stands, though adorable (look at that picture, oh my goodness, the little flat-headed doggo), this game should absolutely have been playtested more thoroughly.

Simple game for the whole family
Ordered PanDogMonium to have in our game stash. Youngest granddaughter pulled it out, and she and grandpa had a lot of fun figuring it out and then playing. A lot of slapping the pile and faking each other out went on. They did complain a little about the stick card, but eventually settled on what to do after throwing it across the room. Silly fun that really needs more than two players in order to fully play the game.

Great fun. Especially for dog lovers
Players - - - - - 2-6Ages - - - - - - 8+Game length - 20mins (although this could widely differ from game to game)Complexity - - 2/10Theme - - - - - DogsOnce id read the rules, I realised this is essentially the game 'snap' but with extra rules. So as an adult with a 14 yr old son, I wasn't expecting either of us to get much enjoyment out of this. But I was wrong. There are 5 way to win the pile of cards in the centre of the table. This can be...A consecutive pair of dogs,A pair of dogs but with a different dog in-between,3 consecutive dog toys,3 different dog toys, when a bone card is played. While this might not seem like lots fo fun on paper, it is fun to pay in real life.Especially with there being a penalty for wrong calls. If your opponent is keeping their hand hovering above the pile, you can push their hand onto the pile to give them a penalty. There is also a 'stick' card, when that comes up, you can throw it across the room and turn over card while the other players bring it back. If you find a match before they come back, you take the pile in the centre.Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this game.I have quite a collection of board games and card games, some are left to gather dust. But I can definitely see this game being played by me and my son a lot more.I would value this game at around £8-£12. I believe at the time I received this, it was priced at £11.99

Paw-Tastic
Suitable for age 8years , ideal for kids to play together or a larger group of people. Its simple to play, similar to Snap and to top it off, its about DOGS!What i love about this is there is a 'stick' card, you can throw it across the room and turn over cards from the pile while the other player/s bring the card back. If you find a match before they come back, you take the pile in the centre.Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this game.I have quite a collection of board games and card games, some are left to gather dust. But I can definitely see this game being played by me and my son a lot more. This was well priced at £11.99

A fun game of snap with a doggy twist!
This dog themed game of snap came really lovely presented in a box featuring super cute dogs! The cards feel great quality, and the artwork is amazing! I love the hand drawn designsThe rules are fairly simple and quick to learn. It works like the classic game of snap, with the twist of different ways to win the round and claim the cards in the pileYou can win cards by matching two of the same dogs, same dogs with one different dog between them, when three cards with the same dog toy are played (for example, three cards with tennis balls), three different dog toys are played, and when you place a bone card on top of the stackThere’s also the stick card! When this is played whoever drew it throws the card and shouts fetch. Other players have to collect it, during which you can search your cards for one that matches the dog card underneath the stick one. You win the game by collecting all of the cardsSince there’s quite a lot of ways to win the card stack, it can be a little bit complicated whilst you’re playing. Snap is a fast game, so when playing we forgot to look at what dog toys were on the cards but it didn’t effect gameplay too much. You can play the game normally and just try to match dogs, but the bone and stick cards definitely make it more entertaining!Overall, really well designed game with lovely artwork. We’d love to have seen a Jack Russell card though!

Snap plus
80% of this game is snap, with dogs. That’s the easy bit, then there are a few extra tweaks which might be fun, but could be annoying depending on the players. You can snap if the dog toys match, even if the dogs are different, you can snap if there are cards that are the same but with a different card between them and you can throw a special card across the room, shout “fetch” and send your friends bounding across the room in pursuit of a bone. It’s ok, but not sure if it offers great value and you may need a largeish room to avoid breaking anything as people fetch, and if snap with a tweak appeals you will enjoy it

You might want to change the rules to avoid the throwing and hand slapping
This is a different type of card game .Dog cards and a game rather like snap with a twist. You get 80 cards about playing-card size. They are decent card stock with shiny finish and good bold colours.72 are dog cards, 4 for each breed.4 are bone cards which act rather like a wild card4 are stick cards. You divide up all the shuffled cards into equal amounts for the players. No one can look at their cards.Take turns to keep putting one into the common pile face up..To win a pile, you must slap your hand onto it in sort of physical snap call, when there is a winning sequence .2 of the same dogHere is where the twist comes...You can also win with2 of the same toy(in corner of card and way more frequent). Then you can win with 2 identical breed of dog with one different breed in between(we found this very hard to remember)Three different toys in a row...A bone cardIf a stick card comes up, the first person to throw it across the room and shout 'Fetch', sits and leafs through their cards to find a winning combination with whatever is top of the common pile and consequently wins the pile unless the fetchers can get the stick card on top of the pile first....If the card slapper has mistakenly slapped, they must add 4 of their cards to the pile.If the fetchers get back before the stick thrower wins the pile, the thrower must forfeit 4 cards. If a person manages to slap a hoverers hand down when no sequence is seen, then the hoverer forfeits four cards. To be honest there are flaws to this game..The slapping sends the pile all over the table.Slapping can lead to some quite angry reactions (even from the adults)Too many criteria to remember what counts for a winThe most ruthless players are likely to try to win at all costs so its not great for the littler playersI dislike the fetch thing. It leads to the stick cards being thrown as far away and inaccessible as possible which is annoying if it gets caught behind the TV , too close to the gas fire or down behind heavy furniture. The game is over when one person has no cards left.I like the graphics, they are recognisable , not too cartoonised. The toys in the corner add a good way for everyone to keep attentive because while the breeds have their own colour of card, the toys are on all the dog cards. The bone card is a nice ideaThis IS a fun pack of cards and we will be using them but we will be making up our own rules.Good to have for game night, blackouts, camping, gadgetless games, rainy day play.Under 8s would find it frustrating if following the rules.
