Surprisingly this is a good keyboard if you don't want a mechanical one. The fairy lights sadly are essential if you want to read the legends in the keys.

My sons keyboard broke and we had to get an another one. This one is absolutely fantastic. He loves it. You can adjust the brightness. It's great for gaming and really comfortable. Discovering all the functions was fun. Easy to use and looks amazing. Good value and I think it will last him a while.

Bought this in May this year 2025. It's been working fine since I got it. Yesterday (end of September 2025) I thought there was a problem with it as the backlight was flashing. Ironically I threw out the manual for it a few days ago! Found an online manual and discovered my cats are at fault as by sitting on or walking over the keyboard they'd managed to alter the backlight function. Two key presses later and I'm back to usability, hadn't realised how much I depend on the backlit keys until they stopped working. Nice keyboard, so far it's been great, despite cat bums and paws on it.

I have bought 2 of these keyboards over time and generlaly I really like them. They are pretty cheap and feel nice to use - a bit of resistance/lump as you press each key - BUT both the keyboards I bought went the same way - see image - the letters just wear off the keycaps. The description states: "Durable & Easy to Use】Rii rainbow backlit led keyboard with anti-fading keys can withstand 50 million presses." This doesnt happen straight away of course and by the time it does Amazon dont want to know about returns - but it happens within 12 months. For most casual users this might not be a problem - for me, I use it all day every day and I think it is my fingernails that do the damage - they just can't handle nails making the keystoke rather than fingers. Not long nails particularly, just when they need a cut and I can't quite be bothered, so not permanently long nails. So it very much a toss up between 5 stars and 1 star as having to replace it every 12 months isn't cost effective - so I'll split the difference and say 3. I feel I should be able to return it and get a replacement as the description clearly states fade resistance and 50M keystrokes...just not true. I think I need a keyboard with PBT keycaps and not ABS - i.e. they keys are mould such the the character is part of the keycap and not just printed on the key. Not cheap but they will last 'forever' so more cost effective that this keyboard in the long run.

Functions ok, lights are nice. No technical issues, but the black coating on the keys rubs off within about 12-18 months, resulting in white keys and not being able to see what the key is (photo of what it looks like). Its still usable if you can touch type and 'just know' which key is where, but I've not had this happen to any other keyboards I've owned.

I bought one in 2021. It lasted about 3 years for me, (Which is a long time I do a lot of typing. Most keyboards at this price point fail within a year or two at most). I found it comfortable to use, although the space bar can get a bit odd with use. Is it wonderful? No. Does it have its failings? Yes. Does it do what you need it to do? Yes.

For the price this is ok. This was my first LED keyboard, I will try a different one next time. The keys have become squeaky over the last while. But the main criticism is whilst it looks nice, the illumination is not spread evenly with the colours. The green is too bright and the violet is too low. I bought this as I am in a low light area, I don't want to close the curtains and put the lights on during the day. I was using a rigged up LED lamp, but that wasn’t practical. So this does work, but I have to live with the excessive green to see the other keys.

OPINION PERSONAL Un teclado gaming muy bueno, muy bonito y de muy buenos materiales. Me ha gustado muchisimo desde un primer momento, desde la primera vez que lo vi me dio muy buenas sensaciones y me dio una buenisima impresion. El teclado dispone de todas la teclas habituales, incluida la Ñ en su posicion natural, importante dato ya que algunos teclados que he adquirido me he encontrado con la sorpresa de que o no la llevaban o estaban en otra posicion. El teclado se siente muy bien, no es mecanico pero da una sensaciones mecanicas muy parecidas, por lo que si estas buscando un teclado mecanico, o al menos que lo simule, este es una gran opcion por lo economico que es. Sin embaro lo que mas me ha gustado es la retroiluminacion que tiene. Dispone de una tecla al lado de la tecla shift con la cual podremos elegir el tipo de color e incluso el nivel de brillo. Dispone de 7 colores (azul, azul claro, rojo, amarillo, blanco y morado), o la opcion de tenerlo sin iluminacion. Sin duda alguna esto es lo que mas me ha gustado, da una sensacion muy elegante, y sobre todo, al usarlo a la noche con poca luz, alumbra la habitacion y queda fantastico. Funciona mediante usb, por lo que su instalacion es muy simple, tan solo conectarlo al usb del ordenador y este mismo lo reconoce y esta listo para usarse. Yo lo he utilizado con windows 7, desconozco en otros sistemas operativos que tal funcionara. ¿COMO HA LLEGADO EL PRODUCTO? El producto ha llegado en una caja mediana de amazon. Dentro encontramos la caja del teclado con la imagen de este. Al abrirla tenemos el teclado, perfectamente protegido por una bolsa y el usb recogido y perfectamente enrollado y protegido. Todo muy cuidado.

Es segun la descripcion bastante facil de configurar, al respecto de la retroiluminacion y las teclas son bastante buenas, e tenido otros teclados de la marca y nunca me han defraudado, seguira siendo mi marca de confianza.

Rii RK900, Teclado Multimedia Gaming con Teclado Mecánico Retroiluminado Es un nuevo teclado de la marca Rii, diseñado especialmente para los juegos con una retroiluminación en 7 colores, esta función de colores no es compatible con sistemas Mac OS, por lo que debemos de tener en cuenta si tenemos dispositivos Mac, siendo compatible con todos los sistemas actuales, como son Windows, PC, Portátil, Google Android, TV Box, HTPC, IPTV, Smart TV, Mac IOS (No la retroiluminación), Chrome OS, y todas las versiones de Raspberry Pi. Como he comentado, está diseñado para juegos, las teclas están grabadas con láser y tienen un recubrimiento antideslizante, entre ellas tenemos teclas especiales Fn para juego de luces y otras multimedia dedicadas al control del volumen y la música, otra de las funciones que trae el teclado es que, si estamos inactivos con él, éste entrará de forma automática en suspensión, lo hará pasados unos 10 minutos sin actividad, volviendo a funcionar tras presionar cualquier tecla del mismo. Es de color negro con los caracteres en blanco translúcido para que la luz se vea tras ellos, las medidas del teclado con 48 x 21.5 x 3 cms., y en la parte superior podemos ver el nombre de la marca Rii, la letra “R” está diseñada con la cabeza de un león, de la parte trasera derecha le sale el cable de conexión, el cual es conexión USB, en la base lleva dos pestañas que podemos sacar para que el teclado tenga una mayor inclinación y lleva dos gomas antideslizantes. Para usarlo basta con conectarlo al puerto USB del dispositivo que tengamos y sin más lo tendremos activo, vuelvo a recalcar que las funciones de retroiluminación en 7 colores no funciona con sistemas Mac OS, si las demás funciones del teclado. Es muy bonito y muy chulo con las luces encendidas, además, le podemos dar más o menos intensidad a las luces, cambiar de color el teclado y dejarlo en un color determinado, o bien que cambie solo casa poco tiempo, está muy bien diseñado para juegos y tiene una relación calidad precio fenomenal, por todo ello, si lo aconsejo.
